Dundee and Dundee United clash in the first derby of the season at Dens Park on Sunday.
The hosts had a horrendous start to the season under new manager Steven Pressley and losing at home to Airdrie and away to Alloa in the League Cup was the worst possible introduction for a manager who wasn't a universally popular appointment anyway.
However, he has steadied the ship since that introduction and was minutes away from beating Rangers at Ibrox.
And he followed that up by guiding them to a goalless draw at in-form Kilmarnock.
They face their street rivals who have already had a rollercoaster season.
They were knocked out of Europe after an agonising penalty shootout loss to Rapid Vienna after twice drawing with the Austrians in a valiant effort.
And they followed that up by losing in the League Cup to Kilmarnock which was probably a reaction to losing that exhausting tie in Europe.
Jim Goodwin has made a lot of changes to his squad as they aim to try and build on last season's unexpected fourth place finish.

The first derby of the season could see the spoils shared in what could be an entertaining draw.
Dundee United have seen goals a pleny at both ends this season and they seem to be very leaky so far. Dundee are also still very much a work in progress too. Neither side could be trusted to win this.
