AFC Bournemouth gave their ailing bid for Champions League football a timely shot in the arm with a win on Monday night and need to follow it up with another victory when they take on Crystal Palace.
The Cherries ended a six-game winless run in the Premier League by edging a 1-0 triumph over Fulham, with Alex Iwobi bringing up one of Monday's Super Singles by getting a shot on target.
That sent them above the Cottagers into eighth place and Bournemouth are now seven points off the pace for a top-five finish that will secure a seat at Europe's top table next term.
They need to win most of their remaining games to stand a chance and now face a Palace side who are also pushing for European football next term.
