CELTIC host Ross County on Saturday in what looks like a simple task for them on paper anyway after their Champions League exertions.
The Hoops were in midweek action against Club Brugge and had to really dig deep to claim a 1-1 draw after they trailed at home.
They were given a real test by the Belgians and were perhaps fortunate a late Brugge goal was ruled out after a VAR check.
Domestically, Celtic have been near perfect. In their last two games – in two of their header away games – they have shrugged off below-par performances to win at Kilmarnock and Hearts.
It took Celtic until the second half to get going at Tynecastle and they then blew their hosts away.
Already the title retainment looks like a procession.
They face a Staggies side who will be boosted by a fine win last week at home to Motherwell, but the problem for Don Cowie is they do nearly all their best work in Dingwall and all three of their league wins have come at home.
Still, County probably have enough about them at home to escape the drop again and this is realistically a free hit.
How the bookies view it: Staggies written off
Ross County can be backed at an incredible 33/1 with William Hill, but even the most optimistic Highlander would struggle to build a case for an away win.
Celtic will be the bedrock of plenty accas if you are happy to include a best-priced 1/11 shot with Ladbrokes. The draw is 12/1 with UniBet.
Recent head to heads: Celtic out of Jail (End) in Dingwall
Celtic needed two goals in the last 14 minutes of their trip to Victoria Park earlier this season to win after going a goal behind.
However, Celtic have now won the last 12 meetings of the side.
Players to watch: Hale and hearty
Daizen Maeda netted another wonder goal in midweek and the Japanese genius is 6/4 to net anytime with 10Bet.
Ronan Hale netted again last week for County and has now scored five league goals in 13 starts so far. He is 11/2 to score anytime with bet365.
Predicted line-ups:
Celtic go into this game with a clean bill of health but you would expect Brendan Rodgers to mix his team up for a freshen-up.
Ross County are set to be without injured duo Will Nightingale and Max Sheaf.
Celtic: Schmeichel, Johnston, Scales, Trusty, Valle, McGregor, Hatate, Bernardo, Kuhn, Maeda, Idah.
Ross County: Laidlaw, Brown, Lopata, Leak, Wright, Harmon, Randall, Chilvers, Nisbet, Hale, White.
Anything else catch the eye?
Celtic are in the middle of a testing run of fixtures with their Champions League campaign and a tricky trip to Aberdeen in midweek so there should be plenty of changes here.
Not that it's likely to hand County too much of a chance given the hosts' strength in depth. The challenge as usual for punters is finding an angle at the usual prohibited prices for a Celtic home win.
However, the Highlanders are unlikely to sit back and it's far from impossible they could add to the scoring. Back Celtic to win and both teams to score at 8/5 with bet365.
And a home win with over 3.5 goals is another backable shout at 4/5 with bet365 too.
