Celtic suffered one of the all-time Scottish Premiership coupon-busters last week when they went down to a shock defeat to bottom placed St Johnstone.
And this week they face another club desperate for points when Kilmarnock visit the home of the champions and champions-elect.
Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers was not a happy man at the weekend when he laid into his men – certainly by his standards – after a timid defeat in Perth.
You would have been hard pushed to find even the most diehard Saints fan who fancied their chances last week, but defeat them they did and there now has to be a serious suspicion these Celtic players are content to cruise through the remainder of a season in second gear.
So it will be interesting to see what kind of a reaction he gets when Killie visit.
Kilmarnock ended a worrying run last week against Motherwell, although it has to be said their cause was greatly helped when Motherwell were reduced to ten men in the first half.
They are still only one place above the play-off spot and they have the worst away record in the league having won just two out of 16 games on the road all term.
How the bookies view it: Celts' faith restored
Despite last week's shock setback, Celtic are still heavy odds-on at 1/5. Killie are 10/1 outsiders and the draw is 11/2 all with Boylesports.
Recent head to heads: Celtic going for clean sweep
Celtic have won all three games this season – two in the league and one in the Scottish Cup.
Killie last won at Parkhead 13 years ago.
Players to watch: Adam needs to hit goal trail
It's easy to forget Celtic splashed out £9 million for Adam Idah and he's been a major disappointment to be frank with just eight league goals in 29 appearances which is poor given the amount of chances they create. He could do with a goal and is 5/4 to score anytime with Boylesports.
Killie's best player this season has probably been Fraser Murray and the winger chips in with some important goals like the opener against Motherwell last week. He is 6/1 to score anytime with Boylesports.
Predicted line-ups:
Celtic will be without injured keeper Kasper Schmeichel and Liam Scales is a doubt.
Kilmarnock have striker Kyle Vassell back in contention for a starting spot with Kyle Magennis out injured.
Celtic: Sinisalo, Johnston,Trusty, Carter-Vickers, Schlupp, Engels, Hatate, McGregor, Jota, Idah, Maeda.
Kilmarnock: O'Hara, Ndaba, Findlay, Mayo, Wright, Armstrong, McKenzie, Lyons, Ndaba, Wales, Anderson.
Anything else catch the eye?
Celtic can retain the title this weekend and if they win and Rangers lose at Aberdeen the next day and you have to believe there could be a reaction to last week's embarrassing defeat.
Brendan Rodgers pinpointed how unhappy he was at his side starting sluggishly so you would expect Celtic to come careering out the blocks this week to prove they are not coasting.
Back them to score two first half goals or more at 6/4 with Boylesports. Despite Killie's win last week, plenty of doubts remain against them particularly on their travels.
On a similar note, back Celtic to rake up the first half corners. They are 3/4 to get four or more with William Hill.
Killie skipper Brad Lyons likes a tackle and could be a good bet for a booking. He's had six yellow cards and a red card this season. All but one were away from Rugby Park and he was booked at Parkhead earlier. He is a decent price of 2/1 to be carded with William Hill.
