Bryne will take on Valerenga in the Norwegian Eliteserien on Sunday, 13 July, with actions set to get underway at 13:30 at the Bryne Stadion.
Both teams are new to the Eliteserien this season following their respective promotions from the second tier last season, but they're both faring okay so far.
After 13 games played, both clubs find themselves locked together on 15 points, three points clear of the relegation zone. Which side will push further away from trouble this weekend?
How the bookies view it: The hosts are the slight favourites
Bryne have been priced as the narrow favourites for this one, with home advantage seemingly a key factor. BoyleSports have priced a home win at 13/10, while a victory for Valerenga has been priced at 13/8. The draw, which wouldn't be a surprising result by any stretch of the imagination, has been priced at 23/10.
Head to head: Two meetings in 20 years
The two matches that the two teams played against each other in the Norwegian second tier last season were the only two matches that they have played against each other in the last two decades. Valerenga won their home match in Oslo, while the match at the Bryne Stadion finished all square.
Players to watch: Bryne to look to Moreira for inspiration
If Bryne are to get something from this match, then they are more than likely going to need their Portuguese striker, Duarte Moreira, to stand up and be counted.
The 23-year-old has shown flashes of brilliance throughout his short career, and there is a feeling that there is a real player in there somewhere. During the club's promotion campaign last season, Moreira hit 11 league goals, and so far this season, he has scored five.
The fact that he is scoring at a better rate in the Eliteserien suggests he is a player who is capable of stepping up in tough circumstances. He has also added more playmaking to his game this season, providing three assists for teammates.
Valerenga are well aware of Moreira's capabilities, having come up against him twice last season. They will be banking on the centre-back pairing of Kevin Tshiembe and Aaron Olsen to keep him quiet on Sunday.
Predicted line-ups
Both sides are going to be without several players for this one. Bryne are missing Sjur Torgersen Jonassen, Robert Undheim and Andre-Remi Svindlan through injury and Jan de Boer through suspension. Valerenga are missing the injured trio of Omar Bully, Stian Sjovold and Vegar Eggen Hedenstad.
Bryne: Cajtoft – Kryger, Haahr, Husebo, Qvigstad – Saunes, Strunck, Sodal, Thornes – Larsen, Moreira
Valerenga: Storevik – Sjatil, Olsen, Tshiembe, Nogueira – Hagen, Lange, Ambina – Strand, Rijks, Thorvaldsen
Anything else catch the eye?
Bryne have become the draw specialists in the Eliteserien over the past couple of weeks, and each of their last three matches have all finished 1-1. Incidentally, this was also the final score when Bryne and Valerenga last played during the second half of last season. A 1-1 draw on Sunday has been priced at 11/2 by BoyleSports.
