BOSNIA host Ukraine in the first leg of the Euro 2024 play-offs on Thursday.
And with the winners facing either Israel or Iceland in the final, all four nations will believe they have a great chance of making it to Germany.
The hosts qualified for the play-offs through the Nations League route after a dismal qualifying campaign.
They finished fifth out of six in their group and lost seven times in their ten qualifying games including a horror 4-1 battering from Luxembourg and a 5-0 home humbling from Portugal.
After starting with an impressive 3-0 home win over Iceland, they collapsed and their only two other wins were against no-hopers Liechtenstein.
Former Aston Villa star Savo Milosevic is in charge these days and he will have his work cut out lifting his side, although they have a squad with players from the Bundesliga and plenty from Turkish football.
Ukraine were denied by Wales after beating Scotland in the World Cup play-offs and just missed out to Italy to qualify automatically after a nightmare group including England.
They only lost away to England and Italy in the play-offs and are a serious side, driven of course by the ongoing conflict at home.
How the bookies view it
Ukraine are evens favourites here at Betfred with Bosnia outsiders at 27/10 with William Hill. The draw is 11/4 with bet365.
Recent head to heads
The nations met in the last World Cup qualifiers and Ukraine won 2-0 away, but Bosnia held them to a 1-1 draw in Ukraine's home game.
Players to watch
Edin Dzeko is still going strong at the age of 38 and the former Manchester City hitman has an impressive 65 international goals in 133 caps. The Fenerbahnce ace is 3/1 to score anytime with bet365.
Mykhailo Mudryk has not quite repaid the £62 million Chelsea paid for him so far, but he clearly has plenty of talent. He's only scored once for his country and will be desperate to increase that tally at 3/1 with bet365 too.
Anything else catch the eye?
It's something of a surprise to see Ukraine available to be backed at evens given what looks like a clear gulf between the sides, certainly in recent results.
It's 24th v 71st in the FIFA Rankings and although the match is being played in a tight venue and Bosnia clearly have some quality players, the visitors should really be too strong for a Bosnian side who cannot defend. Certainly the fixture won't faze the visitors.
Bosnia lost 20 goals in ten games in their qualifiers, so Ukraine look nailed on to score at least twice here. at 11/10 with bet365.
