Inter Milan turn their attention back to trying to win a second successive Scudetto title after booking their place in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) in midweek.
Indeed, they drew 2-2 at San Siro against Bayern Munich in the second leg of their quarter-final clash, as Inter went through 4-3 on aggregate. That extended their unbeaten run to 13 games in all competitions, and now they can focus back on Serie A.
The holders are three points clear at the top of the table with just six matches left to play, but face a tough trip to Bologna next. The hosts were on a similar unbeaten run until they lost 2-0 away at Atalanta last time out.
That was their first defeat in eight games, and they had won six in seven before that. Bologna have also won three of the last seven H2Hs and drawn two, so will have some confidence that they can grind out a positive result for their own UCL ambitions, as they sit in fifth place and just two points off of the top four.
How the bookies view it: Tough one to call
Inter are slight 5/4 favourites with BoyleSports to take home what would feel like a huge three points. Interestingly, a draw and a Bologna win are valued the same at 2/1 with the same bookmaker.
Recent head-to-head: Four-goal thriller at San Siro
Bologna earned an impressive point at the San Siro with a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture. Santiago Castro and Emil Holm were on the scoresheet for the visitors, while Denzel Dumfries and Lautaro Martinez netted for the hosts.
That was one of three goals Martinez has scored in the last seven meetings, and he has also netted in his previous three matches including in both legs against Bayern. The Argentine is 2/1 to score anytime with BoyleSports.
Players to watch: Martinez could be key
Dan Ndoye scored Bologna's last goal in a 1-1 draw at home to Inter's title challengers Napoli, and is one of many attacking threats for the hosts.
Martinez is on a scoring streak, and often makes the difference in tight matches.
Predicted lineups
Bologna still have plenty of players on the injury list, including number one goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski.
Dumfries, who scored in the reverse fixture, is still injured for Inter, but is nearing a potential return.
Bologna: Ravaglia, Holm, Beukema, Lucumi, Miranda, Freuler, Aebischer, Orsolini, Odgaard, Ndoye, Castro.
Inter Milan: Sommer, Bisseck, De Vrij, Bastoni, Zalewski, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco, Martinez, Arnautovic.
Anything else catch the eye?
This could be an open match with so much at stake, so backing Both Teams To Score (BTTS) at 4/5 with BoyleSports seems wise. The last seven H2Hs have also seen 25 goals at an average of just over 3.5 per match, so backing Over 3.5 total goals at 14/5 with the same bookmaker seems another worthy punt.
