Blackburn Rovers will entertain Everton in a pre-season friendly fixture at Ewood Park on Saturday afternoon.
Rovers got their preparations for the new season underway last weekend, claiming a 2-1 win away at Accrington Stanley.
Somewhat ironically, Everton also kicked off their pre-season schedule against Accrington, with the duo playing out a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night.
After narrowly missing out on a play-off spot last season, Blackburn will be bidding to go one better this time around.
Rovers boss Valerien Ismael is still in the process of reshaping his squad ahead of the competitive action getting underway, with only three new players arriving in Lancashire thus far.
As for Everton, they have also added three new players to their ranks at this juncture, most notably signing striker Thierno Barry from Villarreal.
How the bookies view it: Odds currently unavailable

Blackburn and Everton will cross paths for the first time since 2012 this weekend. Their last meeting was a Premier League clash that ended 1-1 and another stalemate this weekend could be worthy of consideration once prices become available.
Players to watch: Beto worth a bet?
Beto scored Everton’s opening goal of pre-season against Accrington Stanley on Wednesday night. The Blues attacker looked like a player reborn under Moyes’ watch last season, and he looks well placed to strike again on Saturday.
Blackburn will look to striker Yuki Ohashi for inspiration on Saturday afternoon. The Japan international notched nine goals for Rovers in last season’s English Championship. What's more, Ohashi also managed to get himself on the scoresheet against Accrington last time out.
Predicted line-ups
Blackburn's Hayden Carter looks set for a spell on the sidelines after being forced off early with an injury last weekend.
Everton boss Moyes opted to field a strong side away at Accrington Stanley in midweek and he is expected to take a similar approach at Ewood Park this weekend.
Blackburn Rovers: Michalski, Brittian, Hyam, Wharton, Ribeiro, Tronstad, Travis, Hedges, De Neve, Tyjon. Ohashi
Everton: Tyrer; Patterson, Keane, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; McNeil, Iroegbunam, Garner, Alcaraz, Armstrong; Beto
Anything else catch the eye?
Both teams to score could be an option to consider based on each of the duo's opening pre-season matches.
Both teams got on the scoresheet in Blackburn's win over Accrington, while Everton’s clash with the same opposition also delivered goals at both ends.
