Aberdeen and Kilmarnock both claimed hugely important wins last week and will be be desperate to show some momentum now.
For the Dons, their 2-1 win at Dundee was greeted with relief and joy by their fans as it propelled them back into the top three.
And that's remarkable given they hadn't won a league game since the start of November!
It gives a perfect indication how bonkers the Premiership is or, as Killie boss and former Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes said last week after their win over St Johnstone lofted them temporarily into the top six….'nuts.'
Aberdeen appear to have turned the corner after a decent transfer window where manager Jimmy Thelin was heavily backed and they look far better defensively.
They have also found the way to goal again after a dreadful dry period.
For Killie, they have not quite replicated last season's form which saw them clinch a European spot, but their injuries have cleared and they are certainly improving.
However, they have a poor record on the road and perform far better on their artificial surface at Rugby Park and they have less wins that anyone else in the league on their travels – just two.
How the bookies view it? Dons backed to win again
Aberdeen are strong favourites with Boylesports at 21/20. Killie can be backed at 12/5 and the draw is 21/10.
Recent head to heads: Home advantage counts
The last four meetings between the sides have seen a home win. Aberdeen won 2-0 at the start of the season at Pittodrie, but Killie gained ample revenge with a resounding 4-0 demolition of the Dons on Boxing Day.
Players to watch: Kevin back on track
Kevin Nisbet has received plenty of criticism from Aberdeen fans during his loan spell from Millwall, but he's actually got a reasonable return of five league goals in 11 starts. He is 2/1 to score anytime with Boylesports.
Bobby Wales has enjoyed an excellent breakthrough season and has scored three goals in his last four games. He is 5/2 to score anytime with Boylesports.
Predicted line-ups:
Aberdeen are still without Jamie McGrath, but keeper Dimitar Mitov could return.
Killie are still without defender Stuart Findlay and captain Kyle Vassell but their injury list has cleared apart from those duo.
Aberdeen: Mitov, Jensen, Tobers, Knoester, MacKenzie, Nilsen, Palavera, Okkels, Keskinen, Nisbet, Gueye.
Kilmarnock: McCrorie, Mayo, Wright, Deas, Ndaba, Lyons, Polworth, Armstrong, Murray, Wales, Watkins.
Anything else catch the eye?
Home advantage is usually key between the sides and the Dons might just shade what should be an entertaining encounter.
Killie will attempt to press the Dons as they did at Rugby Park to great success and they should be able to contribute. But the call here is an Aberdeen win and both teams to score at an attractive 16/5 with Boylesports.
With Aberdeen creating more chances than recently and Kevin Nisbet being back on form, he's well worth a punt to score anytime too.
Finally, both sides play with width and that should lead to corners. There were 15 in Aberdeen's win at Dundee last week and 12 in Killie's defeat of St Johnstone.
