KevMac takes his regular look at the best bets in England this weekend including a play in Saturday's early kick-off in North London.

Tottenham Hotspur v Leeds Utd

The race for the Premier League title remains wide open with just 10 points separating leaders Liverpool and Leeds down in 11th place.

It looked like the champions might start to edge clear only for Jurgen Klopp’s men to drop four points in their last two games to lowly West Brom and Newcastle.

With Liverpool not in action until Monday night’s trip to Southamtpon it gives the chasing pack the chance to pile on more pressure this weekend.

Spurs will be desperate to get their title bid back on track after picking up just two points from their last four games. But they face a tricky game at lunchtime today against a Leeds side who demolished West Brom 5-0 in midweek.

A win would take Marcelo Bielsa’s men level on points with Tottenham and it’s a tough one to call.

Both teams to score is always a good shout with Leeds but it pays just 40/85 with McBookie.

That offers little value but backing BTTS in the first half increases the odds to 23/10.

A McBookie bet builder on Harry Kane scoring and BTTS also pays 128/100.

West Brom v Arsenal

ArtetaAubaymenyang

Arsenal bust my coupon last weekend with a London derby win over Chelsea but made amends by bringing up my midweek double with a victory on the road at Brighton.

They now take on West Brom at the Hawthorns with the Baggies still seeking a first win under new boss Sam Allardyce. West Brom were woeful in midweek when Leeds ripped them apart so you have to fancy the Gunners to pile on the pain.

They are a best 4/6 at SportNation but an Arsenal goal in each half pays a better 6/4 at Bet365.

Chelsea v Manchester City

The game comes on Sunday when Chelsea host a resurgent Manchester City side.

Pep Guardiola’s men are unbeaten in 10 since losing at Spurs and have fired themselves right back into title contention.
Chelsea’s form has been dismal in comparison, with just one victory in their last six matches.

So you have to fancy City a 6/5 with McBookie, even though I wouldn’t be too surprised if this ended in a stalemate, which is a best 43/15 with VBet.

Chelsea’s games with fellow big guns have been disappointing this term, with dreary 0-0 stalemates against Spurs and Manchester United and a 2-0 loss to Liverpool.

So I’m betting against goals here, with under 2.5 strikes paying a decent 23/20 with McBookie.

Betting against both teams scoring also appeals a 19/13 with SBK.

Football League

There are some tasty Championship games today and I fancy Brentford at home to Bristol City and Middlesbrough away to Wycombe. A double pays 242/100 at McBookie.

Porstmouth look decent value at 23/20 (McBookie) to beat Accrington in League One.

Super Singles

  • BTTS 1st half Spurs v Leeds (23/10, McBookie)
  • Under 2.5 goals Chelsea v Man City (23/20, McBookie)

Deadly Double

  • Brentford and Middlesbrough (242/100, McBookie).
