The Red Devils are under immense pressure after losing two of their three matches so far and their away record is bleak – they have won just one of their last seven Premier League away matches.
What's more, this Man Utd aren't a side that batter teams. Six of their last nine victories in all competitions have come by a solitary goal and last season, they only won two away matches by a margin of two goals or more. Therefore, Southampton should, at the very least, have enough to keep the scoreline down on Saturday.
Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest – Liverpool (-2)
Liverpool have arguably been the most impressive team in the Premier League across the opening three matches, winning all three matches without conceding a goal. They won by a margin of two goals in their first two matches before beating Man Utd 3-0 at Old Trafford in their third game.
The Reds will be looking forward to welcoming Nottingham Forest to Anfield this weekend as the visitors had the fourth-worst away record in the Premier League last season. The three teams who secured fewer points on the road all got relegated. This same fixture last season ended in a 3-0 win for Liverpool and a similar scoreline is very much on the cards here.
Aston Villa vs Everton – Aston Villa (-1)
While their neighbours have started the season in brilliant form, Everton have arguably been the worst team in the division so far and another season battling against relegation looms large. Sean Dyche is already battling to save his job so a trip to Villa Park is the last thing he needs.
Only Liverpool, Man City, and Arsenal secured more points at home last season than Aston Villa, who beat Everton 4-0 here last August. The Toffees have already been beaten 4-0 and 3-0 this season, and another defeat could be on the way on Saturday evening.
