Nov 3: How Much Can You Win in a Month?

WE have a new contest for members that started on November 1.

It's simply a head-to-head competition between two people to see how much they can win (or lose) in a month betting on football. Inplay bets are allowed – all bets have to settled in the month of November.

Thanks to everyone who entered and admin have decided to pick two regular contributors to be first to have a go – so step forward HullShaker and Alves.

The idea is win the most money in November with the winner being given a £50 free bet with Ladbrokes.

You can't risk to lose more than 10 points in one day – so for example if you win 5pts early on you can stake another 15pts that day. Any bets not settled by midnight will count for the following day – if you put up a bet after losing 10pts in one day it will be void.

Bets can be similar but no exact copies please.

I will follow the bets as much as possible but the two competitors must keep their own daily tallies and also point out any dicrepancies in their rival's figures.

When putting a bet up comment on the latest post with full details of the bet, KO time unless inplay, odds and points staked.

The bets don't need to be placed by you – they can by mythical bets.

It's a bit of fun really and if it's popular two more members can have a go next month.

On Tuesday Alves was 4.95pts down and Hullshaker lost 3.99pts. They will confirm their tallies but I know Alves lost 10pts on a treble beaten by Juventus.
