FOUR teams have already qualified for the knockout stages of the Europa League and may others will join them in the penultimate round of group matches on Thursday night.

Red Bull Salzburg, Dynamo Moscow, Fiorentina and Legia Warsaw are all certain of their places in the last 32 are looking to seal first place in their respective groups.

Celtic could join Salzburg in the progressing from Group D with victory over the Austrians in Glasgow. A draw or defeat may also be enough, if Dinamo Zagreb fail to win at Astra Giurgiu.

Dynamo Moscow will secure top spot in Group E with victory over Panathinaikos while PSV Eindhoven will follow them in advancing with a victory or draw against Estoril Praia.

Fiorentina play at Guingamp bidding to seal Group K with the French side seeking to beat PAOK to the runners-up spot with Dinamo Minsk already eliminated.

Trabzonspor will qualify behind Legia Warsaw in Group L with a win against Metalist Kharkiv but a draw may also be enough.

Roberto Mancini's Inter Milan require a win at home to Dnipro to secure first place in Group F but a draw will make sure of qualification. However, on his 50th birthday the new boss has made it clear he wants three points.

Tottenham and Beskitas are in line to qualify from Group C. Defeat Partizan and Spurs advance but a draw or loss may still be enough if Asteras Tripolis fail to beat Beskitas.

Everton will qualify with victory at Wolfsburg in Group H while a draw or defeat could be sufficient if there is no winner between Krasnodar and Lille. The Germans could also advance with victory or a draw.

Napoli will advance from Group I with victory at Sparta Prague but could also go through with a draw or loss if Young Boys lose to already-eliminated Slovan.

Sparta are reliant on beating the Italians and Young Boys slipping up to advance prior to the final round of matches.

Dynamo Kiev and Steaua Bucharest could both advance from Group J while a win for Sevilla at Feyenoord will take them through as winners of Group G.

Borussia Monchengladbach will win Group A with victory at Villarreal and Club Brugge will win Group B with a victory at Torino, but draws could also secure their qualification.

Spurs will be without Emmanuel Adebayor, Younes Kaboul and Etienne Capoue who missed Sunday's win at Hull as well as injured Andros Townsend, Nacer Chadli, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker. Federico Fazio is suspended and youngsters Dominic Ball and Harry Winks are in the squad.

Wolfsburg have won 10 of 13 fixtures in all competitions since being thrashed at Goodison. Steven Naismith, Leighton Baines, Gareth Barry, Darron Gibson and Steven Pienaar haven't travelled to Germany and John Stones, Antolin Alcaraz, Bryan Oviedo and Arouna Kone are still injured.

My focus has been on the Celtic game and while the sides drew 2-2 in Austria I'm tempted by Red Bull are 6-4 at Betfred.

The Austrians have slammed in 46 goals in 14 games and a tournament high 13 in the group stage and their firepower is impressive. Make over 2.5 goals your best bet at 8-15 with McBookie but as it's short consider over 3.5 goals at 13-10 with the same firm.

Both teams to score is expected so pays no bigger than 9-20 at Winner.com. Celtic will of course be without John Guidetti so consider Kris Commons to score at 15-8 with Betfred.

Red Bull's dangerman is Jonathan Soriano – the only man to score more league goals in 2014 than Cristiano Ronaldo – and he is 11-8 at Betfred to score and 5-1 at Paddy Power to net first.

Soriano to net is my Super Single in Thursday's Daily Record but I won't choose the site's top tips until studying team news in the morning.

    Mr Fixit,
Give me an idea of what to do…
My cash out is £71 and got Spurs and St Etienne to win on Thursday. What do u make of the French outfit? I did not check the form prior to this game and now I see that they drew 4 in a row and was held to a 0-0 stalemate in Azerbaijan…!

Commons won’t score tonight, not for me as he looks disinterested this season and will definitely be away in January. Shame considering he was last years top scorer from midfield but I’d like him to go to Bolton and rejoin Lenny

Saheel, not a huge amount you can do at this point with so many other games still to come.
I suppose to guarantee returns you could put womething on on karabakh and partisan +1 singles 2/1 and 11/4 And the double at 10/1 to cover your outlay.
If you get nothing back on them then at least you’ll have a bigger cashout amount and your line will still be running

Anyone think that 15/4 for Celtic over 6 corners is a good bet this is with William hill.

I like to try and get an early result under my belt with these Euros, so I think I’ll start with Moscow Dynamo to win. Damn cold in Russia and I don’t think them Greek lads – the whipping boys of the group – will like it!!

Will check team news for later: on first impressions I like the look of Inter, D.Kiev, PSV win/draw away and Harry Kane! Napoli game could be interesting but wanna see if Hamsik, Callejon and Higuain all start as Rafa is a tinkerman!

Saheel, just go with the bet, ride it out. What was the point of doing a big acca like that if your not up for the buzz of seeing if it actually wins?! What was your original stake? If it was anything less than 50 I’d just wing it and hope for the best! Or do what the other guy said and cover opposition teams to get you’re stake back. Good luck whatever you do.

Cheers Tam good thinking. Il take a chance on French St Etienne to win this as surely Spurs will win. The price does not reflect the stats of this match.

I love watching that young Feyenoord side, but not sure whether to put notes on them as very experienced Sevilla could well lock that game down. Might go DC small stake.

Imran, team news isn’t easy to find – it involves searching a lot of sites, looking at clubs sites, etc. Wish it was all in one place.

Salzburg have a player suspended, and also have a few missing through injury. I think Celtic will edge it in a low scoring game.

    Napoli
    Sevilla
    Wolfsburg

    8/1 skybet

Also fancy Villarreal which would make a 4-fold at 17.5/1 or 35/2 if such a thing!!!

The Villarreal game is a later kick off so you could do the treble then a Villarreal single or do a 4 fold and cover the bet if the other three games come in.

any idea why the Lokeran and PAOK prices just shot up? waitin on them for 1500 and the cashout just went from 3 ton to 2 nifty. Think I’ll need to cover or something.

Oft 230 cashout now. The bookies messed up with that Cartagines game last night, they were above saprissa in the league, went 1 up and were still just under 6/4. Took advantage.

    • Avatar of Attila
      Attila 10 years ago

Froody, Saprissa are a better team and unbeatable at home before yesterday. They were actually ahead of cartagines before the game, but not now. I think because Saprissa beat Herediano the other day it convinced the bookies (& me!) that they’d beat Cartagines easily. Good spot getting on that 6/4 in game when they were 1 up tho!

    • Avatar of Froody

to be fair they were all over them, about 15 corners to 2.

    Afternoon lads.

Looking at tonight’s games and Fiorentina, Besiktas & PSV treble returns just under 10/1? Anybody know much about Guingamp, Asteras or Estoril that would be off putting for this? Rather tempting I’d say!

First three wins are huge favourites. Wolsburg in great form against weak fielded Everton. Still think the likes of Osman, Et’o, Lukaku and McGeady can net. PAOK won reverse fixture 6-1 so I reckon Minsk can bag one in the Belarus. Rijeka capable after beating Duth Fenayord 3-1 at home as they are tonight.

The game has now been interupted by water logged pitch and i hope they abandon the thing

I haven’t dealt with an abandoned game for a long time what’s the procedure these days? Is it still treat as a non runner?
