However, with the home crowd cheering for him, Murray seems to have a renewed fire in his eyes as he takes on Wimbledon for what will be the last time.
Machac, on the other hand, has performed admirably this season. He achieved a career-high ranking of 33 and has maintained an impressive 18-10 win-loss record, playing against top-notch players like Sinner, Ruud, and Medvedev. His performances on clay and hard courts were particularly exceptional, although he hasn't played much on grass.
The 23-year-old made it to the third round of the first two Grand Slams in 2024, and he's eager to notch his first Wimbledon victory after a disappointing debut with a first-round exit last year.
How the Bookies View It: Machac as the Favourite

Comparatively, Machac's 2024 season has been slightly better, but he has failed to claim a title yet. He's been solid on the court, winning 71 percent of his first serves and saving 58 percent of breakpoints.
His last notable performance was in the Geneva finals against Casper Ruud, where he put up a good fight but ultimately fell short with a 5-7, 3-6 loss.
