IT was a fairly dramatic Sunday with Inter snatching a Champions League place from Lazio, Livingston being promoted to the Scottish Premiership and Aves lifting the Portuguese Cup.

I went for goals at Lazio but my double was beaten by a surprise damp squib involving Standard Liege who also booked a Champions League slot with their 0-0 draw.

Aves or Aves not to lose was suggested by me but not as a top tip. Could've, would've and should've must be three most used words by gamblers.

Well done to all the winners including Jordan and Johnb with his Belgian Knockout tip. Ace's members bet is still running and he tipped Marc Leishman on the outrights at the AT&T so hopefully he stays out in front.

It's the start of a quiet week building up to the Champions League Final so I'll be doing some World Cup research and putting up some previews.

Tonight's big game is the Bundesliga play-off second leg between Wolfsburg and Holstein Kiel. Wolfsburg were by far the better team as they won the first leg 3-1.

I don't see them losing on Monday but as they don't need to win my Super Single is Wolfsburg draw no bet at 5-4 with Marathonbet.

Elsewhere there are Danish, Norwegian, Irish and Austrian games among others and I'm sure we'll see some tips on them. I'm going to a funeral in the morning so won't be around till later afternoon.

Remember to check out welovebetting for their latest tips and chat.

Hi gents. Not much taking my fancy today but I’m going to take a gamble on a short priced pick in the MLS. Montreal host LA Galaxy with both sides in poor form, with both sides picking up a win each in their last 5 games. Montreal have seen two of their four home games see both score with over 5.5 goals, while the Galaxies games have been just as entertaining with 3-2 defeats over their last two away games, with 3 of five this season seeing both score and over 2.5. Both have scored in every tie in Montreal and you should expect that again tonight.

Danish football and the lovely named
    Middlefart play Kjellerup IF.

BTTS has a good chance here as both team’s btts percentage of games so far is 62%.
Middlefart have kept just 35% clean sheets while Kjellerup have only kept their sheets clean 27%.

Middlefart are unbeaten in 23 of their last 25 home games while btts has happened 8 out of 9 of both means last matches.
Kjellerup are unbeaten in their last 6 and btts has occurred in the last 9/10 Kjellerup matches.

    Morning gents,

It was a cracker of a Sunday and hoping to continue the form as we hit another week – well done to all winners!

Icelandic action later on but it’s the early KO I like the look of…

    ÍBV VS. FH (1600 KO):

Looks like big hitters FH are more focussed in their bid for success this year – a solid start sees them 2nd after 4 games but still their inability to keep a clean sheet haunts them.

They have conceded in 3 of their 4 matches so far but the recent legacy reflects a trend that is far more entrenched; they have kept a clean sheet in just 2 of their last 20 competetive matches which equates to just a 10% ‘success’ rate.

IBV may sit bottom but it’s early days yet and they have at least shown they know where the net is having scored in 3 of their 4 Urvalseild games and in 87% of their last 30.

H2H-wise, FH certainly hold the bragging rights but IBV have scored in both of the last 2 and in 16 of the last 20 stretching back to 2010.

    Two selections:

    BTTS…5/6
    ???

    BTTS & OVER 2.5 MGS…11/8
    ??

Best of luck with all bets ?

Great tipping yesterday – Wilstermann really look to be on fire this season. I recall betting on their games in past seasons but generally match goals and dont remember them being so dominant. Your research is clearly serving you well so far, do you know whats changed with them this season?

    • Avatar of HullShaker
      HullShaker 7 years ago

Morning Davel – appreciate the kind words.

Wilstermann were pretty much bang average at best in their recent history but turned at the tail end of last season so I’ve mapped them pretty closely.

There has been a lot of stadia and financial issues of late and translating from their (fairly regular) twitter feed, there appears to be concerns over finances which maybe indicates they have overstretched to strengthen thr squad.

My closest match would be to liken their run of form to the Leicester side who won the EPL against much more high profile teams as Wilstermann have done against the Bolivian giants The Strongest and Bolivar.

Long may it continue and long may the bookies ignore the mighty Jorge ?

Great tipping yesterday Hull, put your 3 selections in a treble and made a nice profit…having to wait until the 87th min for an Olimpia penalty was a bit nerve racking tho…

I was looking at doing an Icelandic >2.5mgs treble on the 3 games and wondered what you thought of the Fjolnir and Njardvik games for goals?
      Cheers
      Pete

      HullShaker 7 years ago

Sorry Pete – only just seen this – 4 of the last 5 H2Hs at Fjolnir’s place have gone btts/overs with all 5 btts. Both sides 4 openers have been the same and I’d be surprised if btts/overs doesn’t land tonight at 21/20. An outside bet on btts/draw pays 10/1 and looks great value.

Cheers EK, its always a great thing when the home side concedes so early in a match. I think the five corners were in before 15 mins. Off the top of the head Ferencváros – Hungary, Valur Reykjavik – Iceland, Trelleborgs FF – Sweden & Millonarios – Colombia are teams that I’ve found I can rely on regularly for first half corners.

Afternoon all, after yesterday’s success in Denmark? I am having another crack at it this time I Can’t see past a convincing win for the to be champions.

FC Midtjylland have turned it on when it matters and beat the other top 3 teams in Danish football, two of those ‘to nil’ away from home. This is impressive when you consider the season Brøndby have had.

After Brøndby threw away a 96th min lead to Midtjyllands visitors today in their last day they must be kicking themselves.!!! FC midtjylland have in their own hands to get the job done.

They will not let it slip!!!

Horses have lost big to the top 3 of Danish football and I expect the same again.

hi guys, sorry to bother you all today but i do require some advice today and its really playing on my head. I made quite a bit of money yesterday following a lot of guys on here with £50 bets and winning like £110 etc more than once, today i placed a £35 9fold on 365 SWISS CHALLENGE LEAGUE all over 8 corners and 2 games goal before 30 mins and the last 2 selections were HUESCA TO WIN and WOLFSBURG to win. the current 7 swiss games are all green tick, the last 2 are the teams to win, cash out is currently £1064.14 for £35

now i am over the moon BUT i have made a few quid and sort of want to let it run especially with rayo vallecano messing up and @mrfixitstips fancying wolfsburg anyway BUT i aint stupid either and that money would help me currently. suggestions, team news? previous experience of this, ANYONE please input and help greatly appreciated

    bet returns £7924.34 with odds of 8/13 8/13 5/6 8/13 8/11 4/6 8/13 already up and wolfsburg 2/1 and huesca 11/10 waiting, HUESCA now 17/20

Shortee if the cash out amount will help you out its a no brainer take the cash,i think wolfsburg and huesca will both win and if it was me i would let it run checking cash out amount if both sides go ahead, best of luck anyway.

Over a £1000 back on a £35 stake is great going. Really down to 2 questions for me: do you really think both teams will win or did you just add them into a wee interest line today? How would you feel tonight if it doesn’t land after having opportunity for significant cash out? Your call shortee. Good luck with whatever you decide. ?

    • Avatar of Dean Traynor
      shortee 7 years ago

correct heiry i did add them in as i saw value in the prices, and i then done a few inplays and won the money back plus an extra few quid thats why i am classing it as “up” today and really thinking about letting it run, £35 to win £8000 some opportunity with 2 teams left but thats the gambler in me and as you said both could easily lose and feel worse etc

    • Avatar of Hairyheid

@Shortee firstly congrats mate,if it were my bet i would take the money as there would be no way i would take any of the teams mentioned to win away,Wolfsborg don’t need to win and Huesca not got a great record at Lugo drawing both games, one question would you put a grand on these two both winning away normally??if it were me i would cash out and maybe do a double on both.None of these teams are certs it’s the away part that would put me off.Good luck with whatever you choose.

Just back in. It’s always difficult to advise. Anyone would accept over a grand from a £35 stake but you might consider you’ve lost £7k if the other two win.
On the other hand you’ll be sick if you end up with nothing.
I haven’t tipped Wolfsburg to win – I don’t think they’ll lose because they looked so much better than Holstein last week. I don’t know much about the Spanish side.
If it was me I’d cash out or and put £100 or £200 on the other two in case they win.
Only you can really make the call though – if £1k means a lot to you then consider taking it and have no regrets.

    • Avatar of Dean Traynor
      shortee 7 years ago

      thanks MR f

yes just like i said the thing is i WOULD be more gutted if i took it and it won as it was only £35 and i won money from other bets today and yesterday thanks to those on this site, £1000 is not to be sniffed at but i really want to let it ride, wolfsburg yes looked better and i know you have draw no bet and line ups are out at the minute and i think it stands a chance but as jordan said they dont need to win a 1-0 or 0-0 will see them through

One game of interest in SA later on and I’ll be touching down in Paraguay ready for the 2230 kick off…

DEPORTIVO CAPIATÁ VS. SOL DE AMÉRICA:

Although neither team’s needles have hit the groove, there have been a healthy amount of goals both for and against each team.

It’s SDA’s ability to score (and often score early) that catches my attention here; the visitors have found the net in 16 of their last 20 games in all competitions.

These two have gone H2H 16 times in an almost exact 4 year spell – during that time, SDA have scored in 14 of those games hitting 5 in the most recent March 2018 fixture.

Two selections here and it’s based on the stats above and my own experience of Paraguayan early goals and SDA’s in particular:

    SDA GOAL BEFORE 45:00

Shortee it’s Sods Law – but if you’d have left it to run then Holstein could just have easily nicked the first goal and you’d be kicking yourself when cash back dropped to £100

What’s wrong shortee? You’ve just won 2k from £35. Don’t look at it like you could have won more because if that’s the case you wouldn’t have asked for people’s opinions, and nobody knows the results prior to kick off (unless you’re the ref that’s taken a hefty bribe).

    Well played.

In other news. Bet in the US looks rotten. Can’t ruoe out it won’t land with half an hour to play but I’m calling it a loss. Well done today’s winners, especially shortee. Not many can multiply their original stake by 57 on one day ??

  51. Avatar of Dean Traynor

yes lads deep down thats why i came on here and asked advice and i left it long enough for the goal in the wolfsburg game and it didnt come until after, thats life, £2000 so tbh i am happy, bit annoyed but thats all part of it and i need to realise as @jordan said i made pure profit from that and thats good enough for me

Shortee – don’t sweat the ‘would ofs’ or ‘could ofs’ – fact is you’ve turned a takeaway for you and Mrs Shortee into a week away in the sun for you both ???

I think 99 per cent of people would have cashed out by then.
You have to look on it as a great win and have no regrets.
What you went through tonight is an example of why the introduction of cash out isn’t all good.

    3-3 on 70 minutes ?

HVÍTI RIDDARINN VS. SR (2100 KO):

Group B section of 4 Dield and the lower leagues can really produce some massive scorelines…there’s a bit of potential in this one to do just that.

The last time these two met was in March with Hviti running out 4-0 victors – prior to that, H2H’s saw scores of 2-4 and 4-3 bringing the 3 game goals tally to 17 in 3 or an average of 5.6 goals per game.

    Two selections:

    OVER 4.5 MGS…23/20
    ???

    ***WON***

    OVER 5.5 MGS…23/10
    ?

    ***WON***

    That’s more like it ??

Another cracker Hull ? (just a shame I doubled it with MLS game btts in play. Watched last 20 minutes of that game and reckon there are some school teams/boys clubs that would beat them ?) Good luck with Paraguay selection ?

No Capiata goal for the speculative btts 1st half but there’s the SDA goal before 45:00…just! ?⚽

    SDA GOAL BEFORE 45:00
    ???

    ***WON***

    ??
