IT was a no-bet day for me on Thursday but plenty for everyone to look at tonight.
Barcelona-Valencia was the only game I looked at but a 1-0 home win left me relieved I didn't go for Barca and overs.
Well done to everyone who found value on the game especially with bookings – Barca first card was particularly good shout at 7-4.
The only game in England tonight sees Bolton take on Bristol City will tempt many at 11-10 with William Hill despite the home side's improved form and new manager. The Trotters lie third bottom and City got back on track after their cup distractions by beating QPR last week to be fifth and right in the mix for the play-offs. I don't see them losing but could be a draw.
There are some good games on the Continent including Cologne v Dortmund, Sociedad v Deportivo and Marseille v Metz. At a quick glance I'd back goals in Spain – four of Real's last five and all of Deportivo's last six have brought up btts – and Marseille to win. Marseille are up to third after five wins in six while Metz are rooted to the foot although did defeat Nice last time out.
Vitesse v Groningen should also produce goals and we also have Jupiler League games to consider. And Greg will be on with his Friday night tips from Ligue 2.
I fancied goals at Cologne v Dortmund and the German preview posted has convinced me to add it to matches at Vitesse and Sociedad for a both to score treble.

Wolves v Sheffield Utd
Can’t wait for this tomorrow. Massive game for us. We need to keep winning to keep our cushion above Derby and Villa who will continue to push us and reckon Fulham and Boro will edge closer. It’s all in our hands and made better by the fact that we have Benik Afobe back. He was incredible for wolves before leaving for Bournemouth and whilst it’s not worked well for him down south the fact remains that he loves wolves and wolves fans loved him and most continue to do so.
You can see he is overjoyed to be back and ready to grasp his opportunity. It seems he’s under no illusions that if he performs and scores goals then we will pay the cash to buy him in the summer.
I suspect he will start on the bench and rightly so. Most wolves fans would like to see an unchanged team from the team who dominated Ipswich last week. We won 1 nil and had 10 good shots on target and if it wasn’t for a blinding game from their keeper we would have won by a lot more.
Sheffield are a good team and beat us 2 nil at their place earlier in the season. In that night we had Coady sent off and played about 80 minutes with 10 men. We also missed a penalty. Not our night.
This is our chance for revenge and I fully expect us to win. No disrespect to Sheffield but Molineux will be packed and with afobe back we’re buzzing.
