IT'S still quiet on the football front so let's look at some antepost prices that have been revealed.
Following their Champions League success in Madrid on Saturday Liverpool have been installed 8-1 fifth favourites by Coral to retain their crown.
Manchester City are 5-1 favourites with Barcelona 6-1, Juventus and Real Madrid 7-1 and Tottenham out at 22-1.
Liverpool are 5-2 to win the Premier League next season with City odds on in Coral’s book at 8-13 and Tottenham 14-1 third favourites ahead of 20-1 Chelsea, Manchester United and 25-1 Arsenal.
Some interesting prices there and again it's tough to look beyond City for the title while Liverpool may again be the more successfl side in Europe.
I didn't have a bet on Monday so well done to anyone who backed a winner including HullShaker who posted a couple of Caracrackers.
On Tuesday there are some Spanish Segunda games and while most issues have been settled Granada need a win at play-off hopefuls Mallorca to seal promotion behind champions Osasuna. Third-placed Albacete welcome fourth-placed Malaga hoping for a Granada slip-up.

Have to say that both teams were really poor on Saturday and most other sides in Europe would have beaten Liverpool on Saturday night. That said, you can only beat what is in front of you. Certainly wouldn’t carry any of my money next year. City are streets ahead.
If you had of witnessed the heat then you would understand why neither side was pulling any trees up,it was red hot,Liverpool contained Spurs with ease i might add,they got the early goal so didn’t need to go gung ho,very professional job by a very strong football team,as for City been streets ahead that is a load of garbage indeed,they won the League by one point and have never come close to winning the best prize of them all,Vincent Kompany City’s leader has left and unless they bring in a good replacement then i can;t see City winning the league but that just my opinion.The Final was the dullest i have ever seen but after 3 weeks without a competitive game what was we to expect,Firmihno was taken of early because he looked tired and rightly so and the same went for Gini Wijnaldum,they were all tired as the heat was intense.YNWA 6 times.
I was actually there and agree it was warm but thought Spurs certainly showed a great deal more energy especially in the second half. That said, if you don’t shoot you cant score! Lots of “big” players on both sides had very poor games which lead to a disappointing match overall.
I have read a great deal since Sunday from so called experts who have a similar view to mine however the result is what matters at the end of the day.
The Champions League isn’t usually played 3 weeks after the League finishes,with there being so much time before the game the players were surely mentally fatigued thinking about it,anyway winning is what matter as you say, and it is some feat losing a Champions League Final then returning the next year to win it.
Glad you enjoyed your trip. As usual a lot will depend on who signs who but it certainly looks a two-horse race again.
