IT'S amazing how many times a moneyback fivefold is beaten by one but I suppose that's why we take the insurance.
In my case it was Wolves who were held at home to Hull while Fulham, Hibs and Dundee United won. My other pick was Montrose whose game was off so I advised voiding the first bet and taking Bayern or Aston Villa – so hopefully everyone go their stake back.
Juve not scoring beat the Top Treble and Robert Lewandowski failing to net downed the anytime scorer double.
I wish I'd taken overs in Turin but btts was the better price and that's done thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo's brilliance.

On Wednesday there are two more Champions League ties including the big one – Liverpool v Man City – and Barcelona v Roma. Goals are expected but priced short at Anfield while on the evidence of Turin you have to fancy Barca to win well. I've posted a separate preview on the games.
There's not much else to look at but I'm putting up a Super Single of Celtic -2AH at home to Dundee as Brendan Rodgers's side move within touching distance of the title.
Celtic have beaten the Dens men three times this season – all to nil – so that's an option. They've won their last two home games 3-0 so there's every chance of the bet at least being voided.
Elsewhere there are four matches in Serie A including Milan v Inter while Rennes entertain Monaco in France.
My only other bet is an over 2.5 goals treble including Liverpool v Man City which could 1-1 or 3-3 – hopefully it's the latter and we get an action-packed. If the other two selections go over we can cover unders at Anfield.
The treble starts with Benevento v Verona in Serie A. Benevento are all but down and trail second-bottom Verona by 12 points but the visitors can still be safe and will see this a must-win.
However, Benevento are improving and followed victory over Crotone with three one-goal defeats before being hammered 6-2 at Lazio last time out. Eight of their last nine at home have gone over 2.5 goals as have three of Verona's previous four.
Next up it's Rennes v Monaco. Rennes are in good form having won four and drawn two of their last six. Monaco want to clinch second spot and an automatic CL place but this will be tricky. Should be goals though and Monaco's last six have gone over 2.5.

Not the best performance last night and shows how much we miss Docherty as RWB and Neves in the midfield.

One from the AFC Champions League this morning with Melbourne Victory heading to Korea (not North) and I think we’ll see goals here. Both the Victories two away games have seen both score and over 2.5 goals, but its Melbournes goal time that I’m interested in. 62:00 minutes is generous considering the amount of chances they had against a much tougher Shanghai side in China, and they are tied with todays opposition (currently 3rd in the group) so a win could be huge and they’ll hope Shanghai rest starters in the final group game if they win today.

Thinking back to the first league game. Liverpool missed two sitters and then City scored. Mane off for going for the ball when one on one and they got battered. Maybe it’ll be ‘ref justic’ and it goes the other way around. Due a bit of luck from refs recently I think.
Liverpool actually started the game really well at the Etihad, even after they went 1-0 down. Salah had Otamendi on toast before the red card. Fell apart 2nd half and Liverpool have that in them under Klopp but they always start fast at Anfield, especially in the big games – 1-0 up on 3 mins v Spurs, 1-0 up on 9 mins v Man City, 1-0 up on 17 mins v Arsenal. I fancy them to win at 2/1, as I did in the league game at Anfield but I also fancied them at Old Trafford a couple of weeks ago and at home to Spurs when they let me down. Don’t understand the comment. Celtic drawing makes the league look stronger – if they’d won 7-0 you’d said it was weaker.
Results like that happen in every league – Dundee scrapping for their lives and Celtic just not fully focused as they get to the finishing line.
