Today’s best tennis betting tips bring you two matches from the Paris Masters, which begins on Monday, October 28th. It’s the final Masters of the year, and we’ve got some exciting predictions for you to check out.
The first one will feature us backing a native player against a tough opponent, while the other keeps it simple as we tip a heavy favourite to win in two sets.
Best tennis tips and predictions today
In our first prediction, we’re going to back Ugo Humbert to beat Brandon Nakashima, as this matchup has proved rather comfortable for the French player in the past. In our second, we’re tipping Tallon Griekspoor to beat Luciano Darderi in two straightforward sets.
Humbert to defeat Nakashima @ 4/6
These aren’t the biggest odds, but we like them considering that this is a matchup that has heavily favoured Humbert so far. He’s 3-1 all-time against Nakashima, including two wins this year.
Their most recent match happened in Tokyo, which is basically an indoor event, and it wasn’t even close. Nakashima peaked around the US Open but has fallen off since then – quite the opposite to Humbert, who has looked strong lately.
It makes sense because the French player is an excellent indoor player with a healthy record in such conditions. He’s also now playing at home at the Paris Masters, which will only boost him even more.
French players love to play at home, and Humbert is no exception. He’s done really well in Paris before, so we expect him to get this done without too many problems.
Considering that we expect a rather straightforward win for Humbert, the odds of 4/6 make this even better.
Griekspoor to defeat Darderi 2-0 @ 4/6
Backing a 2-0 win in tennis rarely pays off because tennis is such an unpredictable sport. Even the best players lose sets out of nowhere, and especially indoors where matches are close, things can become complicated.
Even so, we like this matchup very much because Griekspoor is simply the better player. It’s an indoor match, so Darderi will never be favoured there. He’s a clay player through and through, and his record on hard courts proves it.
What makes this even more compelling is that Griekspoor beat Darderi on clay earlier this year. Beating him indoors on hard courts shouldn’t be a major problem either.
The Italian did win a match in Vienna, but it was against Dominic Thiem, who retired straight after, and he nearly lost the set there, so he’s not very solid. His form hasn’t been very good, so take these superb odds on Griekspoor winning in straight sets.
