Monday’s football tips: Into the Lions’ den for Dagenham & Redbridge

The FA Cup third-round action continues tonight as Dagenham & Redbridge bid to pull off the first major shock at Millwall. 

The closest we came to an almighty upset at the weekend was Tamworth holding Tottenham inside 90 minutes, although the Premier League side finally got the job done in extra-time.

If National League outfit Dagenham & Redbridge manage to win at Championship side Millwall it will fit the bill, especially with the minnows still working under caretaker boss Lewis Young.

Millwall have also had a change in management and Alex Neil will be desperate to claim his first win at the third attempt.

Results have picked up for Dangenham & Redbridge since Young replaced Ben Stephens, with the caretaker overseeing a win and a draw in his two games at the helm.

There's one game in La Liga tonight and it's an intriguing one as fifth-placed Villarreal head to the Basque country to take on Real Sociedad.

After a storming start to the season, the Yellow Submarine hit some turbulence during a six-game run without a win in all competitions.

That ended in style with a 5-2 win at Leganes in their last outing but they face a tricky test in San Sebastian as they look to build some more momentum.

Real Sociedad's recent form also isn't great, with a draw and a defeat in their last two La Liga games, but they also won last time out against Ponferradina in the cup.

It points to a tight game and the half-time draw looks good at 11/10 with BoyelSports. We should see goals after four were scored on Villarreal's last visit when they won 3-1.

BTTS is just 8/11 but adding on over 2.5 goals boosts the odds to 13/10.

Monza vs Fiorentina top betting tips

Fiorentina's season has gone off the rails in recent weeks so they will be desperate to get back on track with a win at Monza in Serie A tonight.

Vincenzo Italiano had his side flying during the autumn and La Viola went on an incredible run that saw them win 13 times in 16 outings.

But they've since gone five without a victory and that has seen them drop 12 points behind leaders Napoli in the table.

Fiorentina should get back to winning ways tonight though as they face a Monza side without a win in their last 12 games, losing six in a row.

Italiano's side look good value at 20/23 with BoyleSports and you can boost the odds to 29/20 in a bet builder by adding on over 1.5 goals.
