Mondays top tips 2

Liverpool have taken their foot off the gas since wrapping up the Premier League title and that will give Brighton encouragement tonight as they look to keep their European hopes alive.

Watching rivals Crystal Palace lift the FA Cup on Saturday was particularly galling for Seagulls fans as the Eagles also hoovered up a Europa League slot.

That means the team finishing eighth in the Premier League will only qualify for Europe if Chelsea win the Conference League and finish outside the top five.

But that could still happen so Brighton will be looking for the win tonight that would send them above Brentford into eighth heading into the final round of games.

Brighton and Hove Albion vs Liverpool top betting tips

Liverpool have conceded five goals in their two games since becoming champions and have kept a clean sheet in just one of their last six outings.

Brighton shut out Wolves in their last game but had shipped goals in their previous six matches so it bodes well for goals at both ends tonight. BTTS pays just 4/11 with BoyleSports but combining that with no draw boosts the odds to evens.

The Reds won 3-2 on their last visit in the EFL Cup back in October. Four of the goals came after the break that day so it could pay to back most goals to come in the second half tonight at 20/23.

Brighton have averaged six shots on target in their two clashes with Liverpool this season so I also like the evens at SkyBet for Alisson to make over 3.5 saves.

Brondby v Midtjylland top betting tips

It's crunch time in the Danish title race and Midtjylland will hand the title to FC Copenhagen if they lose on the road at Brondby tonight.

A thumping 4-0 win at Randers in Sunday took the capital club four points clear but this is Midtjylland's game in hand.

And Thomas Thomaberg's men will be desperate to close the gap to just a point, setting up a tense final day of the season.

It won't be easy away to third-placed Brondby though as Frederik Birk Christensen's side are trying to hang on to a European place.

Brondby have also won all four meetings so far this season, including a 5-1 battering in Midtjylland, so the home win looks decent value at 6/5 with BoyleSports.

Midtjylland need to go for it so it should be a decent watch and combining BTTS with no draw pays 11/10.

Shamrock Rovers vs St Patrick's Athletic

The Irish top flight has been hugely competitive so far this season, with just nine points separating first from ninth after 16 games.

Shamrock Rovers lead by two points from Derry City and Bohemians so they will be looking to extend their advantage with a win over St Patrick's Athletic tonight.

St Pat's sit fourth but can jump up to second and move to within a point of the leaders with a win on the road tonight.

Rovers have won three in a row while their opponents have lost two of their last three so Shamrock look worthy 5/6 favourites at BoyleSports. You can boost the odds to 7/5 by adding on over 1.5 goals.

It should be a close game though and I like the half-time draw at evens, given that bet has landed in both meetings so far this season.

Liverpool players have been on holiday to send Trent off, so the players are not going to be 100 percent. Arsenal fans must be relieved they have qualified for the Champions League with a game to spare, that’s the genius of Arteta. 😆 🤣

On another note we have Europa League final, play off finals and champions league final so will do a lucky 31 or something on games to be decided on pens, was very profitable last season.

You sure about that deano, if so enlighten me as to why United will win in normal time, don’t use competition form though that doesn’t count.

      Must agree with Macca here.

Both United & Spurs are not exactly known for attacking football – in fact, it makes a mockery of the competition that two of our poorest quality “Premier League” teams are in the final!

Manchester United – the “we used to be” side. Tottenham – known for being so consistently incompetent & stuffing up simple victories the term “Spurs being Spursey” became part of our vocabulary!

Neither manager has shown any “managerial genius” to date, so chances are they will both go defensive & ‘park the bus’ for 90 minutes.

This final will be much like watching women’s football in terms of quality👍😉

No I certainly don’t favour United to win, your a United fan so are as dillusional as Arsenal fans saying arteta is a genius. Joking aside though penalties for me Spurs have won their last 3 against United and have much better players in attack. Tight game for me. I’ll go 0-0 or 1-1.

Could also be worth looking at the ‘Own Goal’ market – both teams will be playing defensively and are likely to make mistakes.

Spurs have scored 4 own goals in the 2024/25 Premier League season, which is the highest total among all clubs this campaign. United are listed with a total of 2 own goals for the season (Harry ‘slab-head’ Maguire being the prime culprit)
