Masterclass

Every weekend without fail I have a bet on draws. They aren't everyone's cup of tea but I can't resist the odds on offer for every match. You don't get any 1-7s or 2-9s here – the worst you'll come across is a rare 2-1 or 15-8.

On average three draws pays a minimum 35-1 which is fairly attractive when you consider you might get just 2-1 for three homes and 10-1 for an aways treble. For a £10 stake a return of £350 or more is appealing.

Of course, it's easier to spot draws using a perm and one way is simply to perm any five from seven (21 bets at 50p). It's difficult to spot five stalemates but being allowed two wrong improves your chances no end. For the less ambitious you could try picking five draws and perming any three, four and all five (16 bets) or selecting four games and perming any three and all four (five bets).
