Livingston endured a truly miserable season last term, but can get their Championship campaign off to a decent start with a win against Dunfermline.
Dabid Martindale's side were always destined for the drop from the top flight last season from an early stage in the season and, after punching above their weight for plenty of seasons, they took their punishment.
But have managed to keep the nucleus of their squad and made some decent additions like Robbie Muirhead from Morton who should be a very good replacement for Bruce Anderson.
They have already played and defeated Dunfermline in West Lothian the other week in the League Cup group stages and East End Park is not a happy place at the moment.
Manager James McPake seems to have one hand tied behind his back in transfer dealings and he's having to rely a lot on kids. They have failed to really strengthen and it could be a long season for them.

They really should be challenging at the very least and putting last season's great escape to the history books and although Forfar should be one of the better sides in the league too, McBookie.com's 13/8 looks a good price.
Peterhead can get the better of Bonnyrigg Rose in the same league at 5/4, with McBookie.com.
The Blue Toon had a couple of eye-catching results in the group stages, particularly when they went to a Kelty Hearts side who had just defeated Hibs and won 1-0.
In contrast, the East Lothian side could easily have shipped double figures against Dundee and had the worst home record in the league last term.
It could be a real struggle for Calum Elliot's men this term and Peterhead should have too much for them at 5/4.
