MAN CITY have it all to do tonight as they try to turn around their Champions League tie against Liverpool and bag an improbable place in the semis.
Pep Guardiola's men slumped to a shock 3-0 loss in the first leg and followed up blowing the chance to wrap up the league title, squandering a two-goal lead to lose the derby to United.
So their aura of invincibility has been well and truly shattered in the space of four days and Liverpool are waiting to pile on the misery.
Both teams to score
Goals look a given considering City's predicament at 3-0 down from the first leg and Liverpool's awesome attacking talent. City's blank at Anfield was only the third time they've failed to score all season while at home they've only been kept off the scoresheet once – by Wolves in the League Cup.
Over 2.5 goals
Liverpool are the highest scorers in this season's Champions League with 31 goals and can contribute again tonight. Nine of their 11 CL games this season, including qualifiers, have gone over 2.5 and it should be same again against a City side who've had over 2.5 in nine of 11 in Europe.
Team to score in half
The second half will be do or die for Guardiola's team and their need to push forward is likely to leave spaces for Liverpool's pacy frontmen to exploit. The Reds are masters of the quick counter-attack and are worth adding to net in the second half.
Match result
While I don't expect City to qualify they should win the second leg. They thumped Liverpool, who had a man sent off, 5-0 in the league meeting at the Etihad and their home form is pretty impressive despite recent setbacks.
Cards
The first leg saw five bookings and of Liverpool's 11 CL outings this season only one has gone over 5.5 cards. For City it's one of nine seeing over 5.5 cards and I like under that mark tonight.
