THERE was one shock in the Scottish Cup last night but none in the FA Cup.

I tipped the big surprise which was Ayr to beat Hibs and I hope you were on at 9-2. First scorer Mark Roberts was also flagged up as an 8-1 shot and he bagged the only goal for the Second Division men.

Tonight Leeds are even bigger than Ayr were for their return clash with Arsenal. The Elland Road men came within seconds of winning at the Emirates before conceding a late penalty and may live to regret that.

Arsenal have never lost away from home to a lower-league side in the FA Cup under Arsene Wenger and although it will be tough I can see them edging through.

There is definitely pressure on Wenger to land a trophy after five barren years and this tournament represents his best chance even though he still has an eye on the title and Champions League.

Arsenal aren't brilliant value at a best 8-13 with Coral, Paddy Power and Ladbrokes while the draw pays 10-3 at Chandler.

It should be an open game so consider the Gunners at 4-7 with sportingbet to score two or more.

Leeds, who have netted 29 goals in 14 home matches this season, should also net but I'm shying away from backing them to win at 5-1 with bet365.

Just to qualify Leeds are 11-4 with Paddy Power while in-form Max Gradel looks too big at 16-1 with Ladbrokes to score first. Consider him each way especially if Luciano Becchio doesn't make the starting line-up.

Arsenal are likely to rest Robin van Persie and Theo Walcott so the man to look at for first goal is Niklas Bendtner at 6-1 with Chandler as he attempts to win over his critics.

There is one match in Scotland and East Stirling should get the better of Highland League leaders Buckie Thistle. Shire, who have won their last two in the Third Division, are a best evens with Blue Square.

Nothing much separates these sides in terms of quality but home advantage may prove crucial, especially as its a plastic pitch.

Buckie, whose last away game ended in a 7-0 mauling by Deveronvale, are 13-5 with Ladbrokes while the draw few will want is 11-4 at totesport.

There's a clutch of cup games across Europe with some sides treating them seriously and others not.

One game where everyone wil give their all is the Coppa Italia Rome derby between Roma and Lazio. Roma are officially the away side and a best evens with Betfred to beat their struggling co-tenants.
