THE Thursday night football went to plan with Amari Cooper landing my 17-20 and 5-1 tips.

After posting a Sunday double I've now added a player prop, with write-up below, and a couple of college football bets.

Baltimore gave up 199 yards on the ground last week to the Bears on 50 carries.

That’s good for nearly four yards per carry and will face a Mike Zimmer defence which has seen Joe Flacco struggle in his career. That doesn’t bode well against a tough Vikings defense at home.

This could work in two ways. McKinnon will likely get the share of the carries, but will also handle the passing down work.

Through two games he’s easily outworked Murray, and should get the bigger workload moving forward.

NFL Tips

  • New Orleans Saints -5 (6pm)
  • (10-11, Skybet– 11 points
  • Cowboys v 49ers over 41 points (9.05pm)
  • Falcons v Patriots over 48 points (1.30am Sun)
  • (4-5, 365– 5 points
  • Jerick McKinnon (Vikings) Over 84.5 Rush and Receiving Yards
  • (5-6, Paddy Power)– 3 points

College Tips

  • Arizona State @ Utah (8.30pm) – Utah -3.5
  • Central Florida @ Navy (8.30pm) – Central Florida -3.5
  • (17-20, bet365) – 4 points

Was definitely both, hopefully he gets a few more in the closing minutes! Either way, thanks for the tips.

Remember this was the first bet I posted for week 7.

New Orleans Saints -5 (Sunday, 6pm)
    (10-11, Skybet) – 11 points

Line is down to 4.5 so at the worst I’ll expect a push. I don’t know how Brett Hundley is going to have improved over the week. He’s been great in his pre-season starts, but it’s against depth chart players at the best. Up against the Saints D that has been one of the best over their past three games. The turnover battle is key, and I think we’ll lose that. Saints could leave Green Bay with a 50-? (50+ points) if Drew Brees is on his A game. Willie Snead back in the line-up as well as a very dangerous two-head running attack. Long day in Green Bay…

    Browns stink out Twickenham

The 0-7 Browns head east this weekend where they’ll meet the 5-2 Minnesota Vikings, also heading East. Both side splaying at Twickenham, with much different aspirations. Many have questioned Hue Jackson’s decision to pull Kizer from their loss against the Titans on Sunday, saying it won’t help his confidence or growth, but I say let him play.

No matter who starts under centre for the Browns on Sunday, they’ll have to be ready for a fierce defence who have at least 4 sacks over the last two weeks, and aren’t allowing many points. Not good when you’re the worst scoring offence in the league and don’t trust in your rookie QB.

Next game is another mismatch when the 49ers travel to the red hot Eagles with Carson Went playing at an MVP level in his second season. Fresh off the back of a convincing performance at home last night against the Redskins, they shouldn’t find too many issues against a 49ers side who were steamrolled by Dallas at home on Sunday. Philly should take a leaf out of Dallas’ book and pound the ball as the 49ers have been woeful at stopping the run this season, while Philly are the leagues best rush defence, so outside of Carlos Hyde, the 49ers don’t have much to throw at Philly. CJ Bethard could take a beating here.

    Sunday

    Vikings -3.5 – 1:30AM
    Eagles -5.5 – 6:00PM

    77/10 @ 365 – 10 points
