HullShaker’s Tips: Reynir reign not so easy

ICELAND again for me and one game taking place in Sandgerđi catches my eye for a bespoke style of bet.

Reynir v Ulfarnir (9pm)

It's 4 Dield action here and after their relegation last season hosts Reynir have won both openers and sit top with a six-point haul.

Ulfarnir are 10-1 to win this one and although there may be a disparity between the two I don’t see enough to justify the prices – I’m also not 100 per cent convinced the goal-line is achievable value given the price.

I think there may be value to be had elsewhere and I’m leaning on that Icelandic penchant for late goals with this one.

There are 3 Urvalsdield games and once again I’m swerving the more obvious choices for a low-stakes double.

Both selected games feature sides who rack up the corners with Valur in particular standing out as persistent corner-mongers.

Sol De America v General Diaz (10pm)

One shout for the Night Owl and it comes from a level-pegging mid-table Paraguayan encounter that looks to hold some value.

Within the last 11 months and as little as 5 weeks ago these two have fought out 3 games; scorelines of 1-1, 1-1 and 4-1 give a decent enough indicator of the bet I’m backing and goals in both team’s games bolster my thinking.

The combined goals count in the last 10 games for both sides stands at 63 with SDA’s accounting for 30 and Diaz for the remaining 33 … that’s not skewed by any mutant scorelines and shows a fairly even spread of goalbound games. Two selections to consider.
