I'TS been a great run of form with the NAPs this last three weeks and my thoughts are turning to South America to see if I can extend the run further this evening.

PARAGUAY vs QATAR (8pm)

Copa America action here as these two go head to head in their Group B opener – the natural perception would be for the Paraguayans to be hard favourites with the likes of top striker Cardozo and newly-adopted Geordie Almiro, but they are a national side well out of form.

Conversely, Quatar's own form is pretty damn hot and, after walking the Asian Cup without defeat, the side are in increasingly good shape with a couple of years to go before their own inaugural World Cup hosting!

So, in terms of outcomes, I wouldn't want to call it with perhaps a draw offering some appeal at 12-5 – instead I'm taking on a market that rarely exists when punting in South America and although these aren't domestic games, the same rules apply!

I don't expect either side to be doing the Macarana in the Maracana, instead they'll more likely be kicking lumps out of each other as both sides look to get off to a competitive start.

Recommended Bets

  • Red card in match
  • (11/4, unibet) NAP
  • Oscar Cardozo booking
  • (5/1, williamhill) NB
