Call Me Betty was a non-runner on Tuesday, so there was no money made or lost in what was ultimately a no-bet day.
I missed the build-up to the race as I was driving, so I've no idea why Call Me Betty was withdrawn. She was in the market an hour or so before the race, so I can only assume she played up before entering the stalls. Feel free to let me know in the comment section if you know the reason why.
As expected, the top three in the market dominated the race, filling the top three places. The Richard Fahey runner was your eventual winner, doing just enough to hold on towards the line.

Looking For Lynda 13/8 – Nottingham 2.35
I've decided to give Karl Burke's Looking For Lynda a chance, in the hope he steps forward from his below-par effort on seasonal reappearance last week.
Due to doing my study quite late on in the evening, I've lost out on the opening price of 9/4, which is a tad disappointing, but at 13/8 I still think he is worth a bet to strike in what looks a pretty average Class 4 affair.
Connections campaigned my selection mainly over the 5f distance last year, and he ran some cracking races in defeat. A three-quarter of a length defeat to the 98 rated Shagraan in a competitive Class 2 handicap at Haydock last year is by far the best form on offer. He also finished 1L down in third at York in another Class 2 handicap, not beaten far by the 88-rated JM Jungle and Jim Goldies 102 rated money spinner in Jordan Electrics.
My selection made his seasonal return at Musselburgh last week but threatened to get involved after looking a bit rusty throughout the contest. There was a spark of hope as they entered the business end, as Looking For Lynda did start to make up some ground in the final furlong. A lot of these sprinters do tend to need the run, and I'm hoping Looking For Lynda will come on for the recent outing. This contest represents a drop in class, and this be will be the weakest handicap he will have contested in. Useful claimer Jack Nicholls claims 7lb, which will also aid his chances of getting back to winning ways.
