It wasn't to be for Rizz on Tuesday with both selections running considerably under par. The money came in for Bampton Star but despite running okay for a long way, he hit the last and didn't have much to offer in the run-in.

Prince Des Fichaux was a drifter in the market and his performance reflected that as jockey Sam Twiston-Davies eventually pulled him up.

Tomorrow's racing is the worst I have seen in a while, with two flat meetings on the AW being the only thing on offer.

Cairnzy's Tips

Mister Adam 5/2 – Dundalk 3.17

I had success last time out when tipping at Dundalk and despite my tendency to avoid the track when tipping horses, I don't have much selection on offer on Wednesday so I've gone back for another bite of the cherry in the hope of landing another winner.

Waterford Flow has to be respected from the J P O'Brien yard and given the horse opened up at 11/2 and is now into 15/8 favorite suggests that a big run is on the cards. With that said, I was more interested in Gerard O'Leary trained Mister Adam who I thought showed that little bit more on debut compared to Waterford Flow and possibly had more scope for improvement.

There were plenty of positives to take from Mister Adam's performance on debut at the Curragh. My selection stayed on strongly to finish fourth on that occasion and stepping up from 1m to 1m2f should hopefully see this horse improve even further given how strongly he hit the line on debut. The form of that particular contest reads quite well too with Honeysuckle Rose winning next time out and was notably a fair few lengths behind my selection on debut.

Rising Force 10/1 EW – Kempton 5.00

This isn't a race I'd normally get involved in given it's a Class 5 contest for amateur jockeys but I thought Rising Force was worth a few quid each way at the prices.

My selection has probably the most consistent profile in this field with recent form figures of 12424 and his recent effort at Chelmsford was an encouraging one. It took a while, but the penny did finally drop for Rising Force last time out and he rattled home strongly to finish fourth over 7f. He steps back up in trip to 1m which makes sense given how strongly he finished off his contest last time out.

My selection was originally campaigned over 1m at the start of his career and actually won on debut over this distance by two and a quarter lengths. He was then beaten twice by the same horse in Forever Proud who got the better of Rising Force by a neck over 1m and then two and a half lengths over the slightly extended 1m. The form of those runner up efforts reads well with Forever Proud recently winning again last time out and is now up to a mark of 62 on the back of those efforts. My selection runs here of 52 which I feel is well within reach for this consistent type. A repeat performance of his second to Forever Proud over 1m would definitely give him a shout in this contest, particularly against more exposed types.
