Saturday was a top day with both of my selections getting the job done to ensure it was a profitable day at the office.

Saturdays are tough at the best of times, but to walk away with two from two is always nice.

Wise Approach did just enough to win by three-quarters of a length, and he did slightly drift in the market, which I was surprised by. Lost Boys was advised at 9/4 and was backed into 5/4. Similar to Wise Approach, he did just enough to win on the line, but ultimately, that's all that matters.

Apologies in advance, but there will be no Lucky 15 thread for Sunday's racing. I'm late getting home due to an oil spill on the roads, and I don't have the time to get it done. Yesterday's Lucky 15 bet saw two horses place, one lose, and one void. The results meant a small loss on our initial stake, but nothing major.

Forever Glamorous 9/4 – Ffos Las 3:05

I can see the thinking behind the current favourite Supreme Diamond; she seemingly took well to the testing conditions at Bath last time out, and if building on that effort she could be tough to beat on her nursery debut.

With that said, I still think you can take her on as she doesn't look completely bulletproof. We only have a field of four so that left me with three horses. Andrew Balding's Storm Flag hasn't shown much, and despite being dropped 2lb in the weights, I still think you can draw a line through that one. The C Hills-trained Proof is an interesting one, particularly at this sort of grade. Still, again, I wasn't exactly taken by her recent performances, and I thought she would be vulnerable to those above her in the market.

Forever Glamorous was the horse that I finally decided on, and I think at 9/4 she is a worthy punt to take on the market principle. She has mainly campaigned over further ( 6f ) but takes a drop in trip for this contest to 5f. My selection has progressed for each of her outings to date, and I thought her most recent outing was a good effort. She travelled for the most part like the best horse in the race and looked to be handling the testing conditions with no issues. She still looked a tad green and wondered a bit under pressure before going down by a neck. Nonetheless, I think she'll improve from the recent run, and being a speedy type, she should hopefully be suited by the drop to 5f.
