Cairnzy is back from his break, which means our Lucky 15 thread is back up and running. Cairnzy and Rizzel have selected two horses each for Sunday's Lucky 15 tips.

Cairnzy's Tips
Moonset 11/4 – Uttoxeter 3.55
Moonset comes here with a big chance for trainer Neil Mulholland and jockey James Bowen. My selection is yet to run on good ground which is a slight question mark but the form of his recent second can't be ignored. Moonset hasn't been seen since 2023 but his previous runner-up effort at this very same course has since received a boost with the eventual winner winning recently in April by a cosy five and a half lengths.
Embesto 6/4 – Pontefract 3.12
Rizzel and I only have the two meetings to choose from on Sunday within the UK so the chances of us tipping against each other were more likely than not. Sorry, Rizz!
Rizz fancies Flight Storm to upset the apple cart in this race and he's selected that horse as one of his selections on the main thread. I'm personally finding it hard to get away from Embesto, who in my opinion will be hard to beat. My selection is dropping down into Listed company from Group company and he should be a tough nut to crack if turning up in similar form to his last run. Embesto was only beaten by three-quarters of a length into third in the Group Two Summer Mile Stakes at Ascot. The eventual winner Quddwah remains unbeaten and looks a really exciting sort for the Simon & Ed Crisford yard, a repeat performance by my selection will see him tough to beat.
Rizzel's Tips
Blue Rose Cen 15/2 – Deauville 2.50
I do think Mqse De Sevigne will be quite a tough nut to crack in this Group 1 contest as she is a proven performer at this level and does handle the cut in the ground, but she is getting ridiculously short now and she's up against some very good fillies. I am going to give one of my old favourites, Blue Rose Cen a chance in this contest.
Blue Rose Cen is still one of my favourite horses in training even though she hasn't excelled since her 2-year-old days, but she is still a very good horse and especially on soft ground. This year and last year haven't gone to plan, but I think they have been campaigning her over the wrong trips, aiming more for the 9f and 10f rather than her bread and butter over a mile which saw her hit the top heights as a juvenile and the start of her 3-year-old campaign. She is a three-time Group 1 winner over today's trip, and given her record on soft ground in those Group 1's, she is massively overpriced.
Uluru 5/1 – Deauville 4.00
With not much racing on in the UK on Sunday I've decided to stick to the very strong French flat racing for the Lucky 15 tips.
Joseph O'Brien has sent over a couple of horses for this meeting and the one which I thought had a good chance was Uluru in this Group 3 contest. The French opposition do not look particularly strong, with the form not looking great and the runs they've recorded aren't pumping out huge RPRs, so they look vulnerable to a UK improver.
Uluru is a useful horse, shown when finishing 3rd in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot, which has turned out to be a strong form line to follow. She has already proven to be effective on slower surfaces, as she won on soft ground on debut and was second at Killarney on soft ground over a mile before being disqualified.
WHAT IS A LUCKY 15 BET?
A Lucky 15 bet consists of 15 unique bets, covering every possible combination that comes from backing four selections. The 15 bets are broken down like this:
– 1 fourfold accumulator
– 4 trebles, with each treble omitting one of your selections
– 6 doubles, again covering every possible combination
– 4 singles
The attraction of a Lucky 15 is that it offers many more ways to win than a standard accumulator. A Lucky 15 uses both your acca and your singles as well as producing trebles and doubles that reward you for correctly calling 2/4 or 3/4 of your selections. To cover the 15 separate bets, a Lucky 15 uses your stake 15 times. If you were to place £1 on a Lucky 15, you would be staking £15 in total across the various bets.
