On Friday, we were left with just one selection as Oriental Art was announced as a non-runner. Royal Velvet was a tad disappointing, she was lit up mid-race after receiving a bump by a fellow runner, she was made to run wide and could not land a blow in the straight.
There is a lot of racing on today, but other than the occasional race, a lot of it is fairly poor for a Saturday.
Haydock 1:50 – Live In The Dream 10/11
My first selection of the day is a short price, but it looks to be a fairly solid short-price favorite in the shape of Live In The Dream, who is the best horse in this race by quite a margin. Live In The Dream shocked the racing world when he landed the Group 1 Nunthorpe at York last year, shattering the backers of the late Highland Princess. This horse is all about speed and this track will play to his strengths, which is getting to the front and staying there, which is something he didn’t manage at this track on his seasonal reappearance when being pestered for the lead.
With the recent run under his belt and a drop in class to a Listed race, this looks like a perfect race for him to get a win under his belt before going for the Group 1 races later on in the season.
Haydock 3:35 – Witch Hunter 5/1
Witch Hunter made great inroads last year, going from a handicapper who was decent on the AW, to a Group winner on the turf. He is priced up nicely for today’s race and if he brings his A-game, he should have a very strong chance of winning this Group 3.
Richard Hannon and Sean Levey have made a great start to the flat season, winning some nice races along the way, including the 2000 Irish Guineas a weekend or so ago. Witch Hunter is a horse who relishes the 7f trip, which is often seen to be a very niche distance. He will be held up, so the projected strong pace will make this race run to suit and he will come late and fast with a strong run, hopefully avoiding any trouble in running.

GL ALL
The bookies will not let them have all winners although if Dan wants 6 he’ll go for 6
Apologies no time today. Be really brief with my two bets today.
Miss Gitana 4.25 Haydock 5/4
This has drifted out to 2/1 since when I got on , no idea why it doesn’t make sense. Think this will tske all the beating today, load of improvement should be there running over this trip for the second time. I actually expected this to get backed into odds
Tomorrow Day Chepstow 8/1
Had been looking at the Sir Mark Prescott runner in this purely based on the yards stats at the track but I can’t be backing this at 3s today. One I liked was this Mark Usher gelding wearing cheek pieces for the first time. Steps up in trip markedly. His style of running could see him enjoy this track. Bit of a punt based on him not running over this distance but I really think the front 2 in the betting are there to be beaten today. This one has seen money overnight so that’s a good sign.
All the best everyone with your own bets today. Have a lovely weekend, Chris.

Dam witch hunter cost me alot that in my heinz oh well profit is profit
Hi, long time reader of site.
I’d like to suggest an easy & IMO essential improvement on the page.
A tracker showing profit/loss in points.
As with horses & jockeys , tipsters & gamblers alike go in & out of form. Why not display the Calander months tracker showing profitability in stake terms.
Not a dig but this month cairnzy you’ll be minus 75 points on day 8 mate. (I’d fully expect you to be in front by 30/6)
I enjoy reading the write ups but in all honesty it means nothing without full disclosure on YOUR form.
In no way is this a negative point, rather a constructive comment with the aim of improving ALL OUR bankrolls .

Only minus 75 points ? Must be a good month then ?
To be honest I don’t think any headline tipsters on here ever put up losses only say when they win and usually say yessss wins at 4/1 (but wins at 11/8) coz when posted at 4/1 most people are busy at work/cooking tea/putting kids to bed. Jon b was a good tipster but doubt yearly he was in profit but who is with racing! There will have been hundreds of thousands on that 13 runner race at 2.05 Beverley today and basically nothing on the 125/1 winner!
In the end we all lose everybody knows that . We have our little runs of success then give it all back I’m sure there are a few that have blindly picked out horses and won life changing amounts but if they had any sense they would take the money and run and don’t look back . Better off spending your money on smoking cigars and eating pizza all day and washing it down with a pint of petroleum ?
I spend most of my disposable income on sweaty slags nowadays.
You know what you are getting for your money, probably crabs but that’s the gamble ?
??? good reply’s !
All I’m saying is that surely we all want to IMPROVE our chances… we post about strike rates at courses, trainer jockey combo’s etc but never about FORM of person posting info.
We all see in our online accounts how we are fairing – over the week/month/year whatever… so surely a tipster being PAID for write ups on a site earning from the readers via adds /clicks / subscriptions should want to show their performance…
Again please take this constructively , incorporate a readers tipster league aswell , maybe just maybe we’d improve collective performances & the site would grow its subs as exciting, informative & TRANSPARENT opinions are shared … backed by performance stats .
Pretty simple stuff really.
Nobody can pick winners 365 days a year & fair play to ANYONE who puts their neck out daily on a public forum to do so but it’s all hot air without the stats.
PS – I like the tips at night and of course prices can change before the off… I don’t think it matters if cairnzy advises 4/1 at 9pm then goes into 11/8 – what’s he supposed to do? He’s posted the prices at the time of post & the gamble goes in on the horse, generally makes us all feel confident.
Like I said, simple stuff & easy changes on a word press site. Unless of course the admin are not interested in improving/ growing…???
As usyk would say ! Greedy bellies them bookies !
Thought you wasted your money on dodgy wigs and false eye lashes ?
I suppose it’s a free site simple so people can advise changes but probably won’t be listened to unless you were paying for it. And if head line tipsters put up there +/- points for month/year and it always shows minus then who would pay.
Titties !!! ?
