It was one win from three selections yesterday which is better than nothing.
Francophone showed a great attitude to win on Saturday and it'll be interesting to see where connections send him next. Flora Of Bermuda completely fluffed the start and the race was over for that one before it even began. She did make up a bit of ground in the final furlong and maybe would have gone closer if breaking on terms. Royal Power ran with credit but faded inside the final furlong and was never troubling the eventual winner who had first run on the field.
I've one selection for Sunday from The Curragh.
Orchard Bloom 11/2 – Curragh 2:35
All eyes are on the Joseph O'Brien-trained Rogue Millenium who was bought from Tom Clover for a whooping £1.65 after an encouraging 2023 season. Her second-placed effort behind Tahiyra at Leopardstown is this contest's stand-out piece of form. Expectations for this filly are sure to be high this year, with that being said, she's returning from a seven-month break and is worth taking on in this contest.
I opted to take a chance on Orchard Bloom who at 11/2 represents a bit of value against the short-priced favourite. I highly doubt William Haggas would bother sending her over to Ireland if he didn't feel she had a chance. Haggas has a decent strike rate when sending his horses to Ireland, operating at a 27% strike rate.
Unlike the favourite, my selection has a race under the belt this year. She ran at Goodwood last month which saw her finish sixth in a listed class one contest. She was slow away that day and never really got a toe into the race. I'm more than happy to draw a line through that run given it was her comeback appearance. Orchard Bloom has some decent form in the book, most notably towards the back end of last season which saw her place in a listed company twice.
White Birch 5/2 – Curragh 3:10
I'll not blabber on with this one.
If the favourites run well at the Curragh tomorrow then I'm screwed as I'm taking on another short-priced favourite in this contest as well.
I simply can't have Auguste Rodin at 5/6 in this contest. Don't get me wrong, I'm a massive fan of the horse and on his day he is a machine but he has his quirks and comes here on the back of a no-show at Meydan. He's a strange horse, he either shows up and wins like a champion or doesn't show up at all, there doesn't seem to be any in-between with him. He could bolt up in this contest and make me look silly but I'll take the risk and take him on.
On paper, White Birch is a worthy alternative and will give the favourite a run for his money if showing up on song. My selection comes here with a recent win and race fitness on his side. White Birch wasn’t that far behind Auguste Rodin when the pair met in the Derby ( finished five and a quarter lengths behind).
3 group races in frog today, the 2-40 a particularly good race.
1-25 srvennas knight 5-2.
Double major hammered Al nayyir who is 2nd favourite today here last October.
Srvennas knight last month hammered double major and 2 more of these 5 opponents here last month by 8 lengths .
2-40 blue rose cen 100-30.
1st race for new trainer, nothing strange in that as some of Christopher head’s horses have moved to this yard including the impressive big rock.
His rivals today have had runs this year but Blue rose won 1st time out last year .

A very good morning to everyone, hope everyone is doing really well.
Very rare Sunday off so thought I’d see if I could help out with a few useful stats for everyone.
Someone You Loved 2.15 Kelso 2/1
A lot of confidence coming for this today. Stable and jumps debut. Has schooled very well at home.
Yard have a superb record at Kelso, 44% strike rate over the last 5 seasons with 11 from 25. It will be about a 650 mile round trip for the yard today.
I’m sure plenty are on this already as its pretty much out there amongst punters, but if you’re waiting to closer to the off like I am get your bet on the exchanges. A few minutes before the off you’ll very likely see an inflated price, won’t last long so get on quick.
They have another one running Mistral Nell who is expected to go really well. Step up in trip is just what she needs. Being out of Mount Nelson and dams sire King’s Theatre.
Plenty will be on for the double today but I’m just sticking with this gelding making his debut for the yard.
All the best everyone, Chris.
You mustccertainly have a lot of contacts countrywide to know of all this stable confidence in your tips “Chris” 🤣.
Good luck 💡
Just give a few hopefully helpful pointers on Mistral Nell at 4pm…
As mentioned above breeding suggests this step up is just what this mare wants. Also whenever Fergal steps one up markedly in trip you have to take a close look as he has an excellent strike rate when he does this.
Shes ran well at Fontwell which is obviously a very similar track. The run at Huntingdon which is a flat track didn’t really suit imo. Plus she raced wide all the way round giving away my plot of ground.
That was a real improver she bumped into last time out. She clearly appreciated the step up. She’s been dropped 1 pound as well. She goes close today imo. All the best everyone with your own bets
If anyone else is backing this one at 4pm wait till a few minutes before the off and get on with betfair exchange. You’ll very likely see a drift just before the off, be aware and quick as it will get snapped up. Have a fantastic week ahead everyone, Chris.
cold hearted 1.25 well done all winners yesterday

Oval street 2-39 fontwell.

15-8 top 2 finish @corals NAP 🏇
Willie Mullins sends one horse to fontwell for this race and it’s 1-9 on to win
What’s the point in that ?, just for a poxy 4 grand maiden hurdle, strange goings on.
Anyway judging by the odds of the other 3 runners this looks a match bet between oval street and bless the moon for 2nd place
1st pick Sevennas knight won in frog.
Off shopping now with the strife before the thunderstorm arrives (the weather not the mother in law)
Good luck today racing peeps 🏇

Hibee/Chris/ dean or whatever your name ism
You said you were only backing the first one which came 7th.
Now you repeat the post almost word for word for this one at 4pm and advise us all to get on last minute again.
Getting boring now “Chris”,
maybe just post tips with a small write up and cut out all the crap about I know connections, word is he’s working well, get on late etc every time you post
Sone people will read this stuff and follow blindly thinking you actually have inside knowledge.
He’s a Bit of a fantasist I think 🤔 probably looks like John mc cririck

GL all and well done to the winners today.
Yeah be careful of hibee, loads of people say I know him I know her etc and if you did they can be investigated anyway for letting a yard leak information like footballers can’t bet etc. bit it’s unfair because you could get someone to lose alot of money talking rubbish . If it was easy then main headliners on here would say “put your house on it ” or advise you to go big. Nothing in any sport is a guarantee
I don’t know how Hibee finds the time to post any tips.
Surely the majority of his time (even in May) must be spent writing out xmas cards to this never ending list of contacts, stable staff etc etc etc etc
It’s just silly basically isn’t it . But prob copied off other sites anyway. Only horse I always advised (very hard to win with ) QUITO . Used to love that horse was mainly 5/6 f and had to come from last so was excited and “Mr wolf” who loved Pontefract (I’m from Donny).
I remember Quito well.
Just had a wee look on the racing post website at its racing career. It ran a whopping 32 times in 2003 which included an Ayr Gold Cup win. I find just putting the bins out 52 times a year a struggle.

Just back from a fortnight in Mexico and I see our Dean is still spouting his usual pish with another 2 short priced Favs beat. Quite unbelievable some1 with supposedly such great inside info into the Fergal O’Brien yard can get sooo many of his short priced horses beat 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
