Racing tips: Inverlochy can bounce back with a win after a narrow defeat last time out

Destiny Is All has suddenly started jumping quite violently out to the right in his last two races. I thought it was a blip last time out, but he was horrendous today. 

Chumlee was very weak in the market, suggesting his fitness wasn't 100%. He went from 4/1 to 11/1, missed the start by 10L+, crept into the race nicely and stayed on when having no chance of winning. The Laura Horsfall runner was also a drifted, I felt like the favourite had to be taken on and he was beaten. My selection must've been trading shorter in running as he was catching the eye all the way round until his stamina didn't last out, so a step back in trip looks necessary.

Lingfield 1:20 – Inverlochy 6/5 (1pt)

I'm not a big fan of going against The Horse Watchers horse's as they really know what they are doing and when their horse is on a roll, it is by a scary prospect of going against them, but I do think Inverlochy has the form in the books to win this race and running at Lingfield should suit her more than her recent runs at Newcastle.

The Simon & Ed Crisford horse was denied the hat trick when losing to Enola Grey last time out just 18 days ago, and it didn't quite seem to be the same type of performance from the time before which saw her finish ahead of the horse who beat her lto. There was more of a weight difference 18 days ago which wouldn't have helped, but when Inverlochy beat that horse she was a smooth traveller and it looked to be a question of how far rather than if she was going to win. Last time out she came under pressure a lot sooner, so I don't think we saw the same horse last time out, for whatever reason that might be.

The winner of the Newcastle race finished as runner-up at Southwell in a stronger race (Class 4) and Enola Grey has been in tremendous form since moving to Gemma Tutty's yard, so I believe the form is strong.

I think Lingfield can be suited to Inverlochy more than Newcastle, which might sound strange given she has won at Newcastle and is 0/2 at Lingfield, but given how well she travels I think this speedier track will suit her, especially if they decide to try and go from the front which I believe would suit her. She is the quickest horse in this race based on recent form, and I think quite a few of the runners in this field need further, and those that don't are really out of form (Monopolise) or don't look up to this level.

The early prices have diminished, she is now best priced at 6/5 after opening up at 15/8 which is on the short side, but on a terrible day of racing I think she can get us a win.
