Westover was extremely disappointing yesterday in the big Group 1 and on the back of that I'll be avoiding him until he gets another win or runs well as he was very poor. He didn't handle the preliminaries too well and was getting very warm before the start and took a strong pull during the race, so it wasn't a true showing.

CORINTHIA KNIGHT has been a winning tip for me once this year and has run well on another run, and I am once again siding with him as his claims are there for all to see back at his favourite venue of Pontefract.
He is running off a mark of 74 which is 1lb higher than his good fourth-placed finish in a very competitive Class 3 Sunday Series Sprint handicap, and a repeat of that run will make him tough to beat in this race from bottom weight. Harry Davies took the ride that day so he was effectively 6lbs lower than today's mark, but with a jockey of Paul Mulrennan's experience will be of great use so the fact he's without a claimer isn't too much of a concern.
Corinthia Knight won this specific race 12 months ago off an 18lb higher mark, so it goes to show that he is extremely well-handicapped. He is a horse who handles any conditions, so the fast ground he encounters isn't a worry. He's been extremely consistent in his performances over the last three runs, including his latest run at Carlisle, which is something you can't say about the others in this race other than Origintrail, who has to be respected being a 3yo, but he has to give away 6lbs to Archie Watson's 7yo, which could be a tough ask.

Marie’s diamond finished 2.5 lengths ahead of brunch last month on today’s terms.
Not saying either of these will win especially as Marie’s diamond has regressed since leaving Mark Johnson but worth a small play at the odds.
Also worth mentioning Marie’s diamond has won 7 times, the last 6 were 3 in June, 3 in July so it’s the right time of year
Brunch has pulled out so only bet is now.

It was a decent night,although only 2/5 in the Canadian won 4x singles won, 2 of which were in the Canadian Nest(***) walked it and loooong wait till Bellabell(**) which won well.
Looking back at my post yesterday if I had just put my first 5 tracker horses on it been 4/5 and 2 x singles but we for it with Arties Storm (8/1) you’ll remember??
