White Birch rewarded us with another winner on Sunday as Auguste Rodin failed to fire once again. Orchard Bloom could only manage fourth while Rogue Millennium was turned over at even money. I never caught the race live, so I'm unable to comment on how Orchard Bloom ran on the day.
I've been busy all day and haven't had much time to do a proper study of tomorrow's racing. For the reason just mentioned, I've only a sole selection for tomorrow.
- Dakota Gold 6/5 – Redcar 2:50
Nothing is exciting about the price of Dakota Gold, however nothing is exciting about the racing on Monday either, so sorry but not sorry for refusing to throw up pointless selections.
I've loved following Dakota Gold over the years, he has been a proper money spinner for connections over these short sprint distances. He owes connections nothing but the ole boy comes here with a decent chance and I'm happy to put him for that reason.
Dakota Gold is no shy horse when it comes to contesting over these sorts of trips with 15 wins and 18 places to his name throughout his career.
When he was in his pomp, Dakota Gold was a Group Three winner, whilst also placing multiple times at listed level. In his prime, Dakota Gold was rated in the 100s but now having hit the decline stage of his career, his rating has started to ease a little as a result.
My selection looked to be off the boil when failing to get involved on his first two runs of this season, however, he seemingly looked back to his old self when only beaten by a length and a half into second at York a couple of weeks ago.
I forgot to include it in my write-up, so I will include it in the comments section.
The comments section is open for everyone to post their selections, give their write-ups, talk everything racing and most importantly have a bit of a laugh with each other.
Over the last few months, there has been comments ( Not naming anyone ) claiming inside information with their selections and write-ups. Now, whether people who post these comments actually have inside stable information is one thing and proving if they do is of course impossible as most of us don’t know each other on a personal level.
My reasoning for asking people to avoid posting in that context is because people who click on the thread will potentially follow it blind eyed, thinking that the selection is a gimme. Of course whether people want to lay the selection or not is their choice, no one forces anyone to place a bet on anything posted on here but I’m personally not a fan of it and it appears to be causing a bit of havoc in the comments section.
The guys above me tend to agree and will keep an eye going forward for anything posted claiming such information which most people know is 99% of the time lies. I don’t have any sort of inside information and anything I post is simply done via a study of the cards, form and everything else.
I hope everyone agrees this is a fair statement going forward.
Thanks

Everyone’s real names are appearing here today
Yeah well done Elvis. I’m newish posted 4 tips all lost but will happen to everyone. Been on the site years and years as a follower dunno what happened to Jon b apparently he went to Vegas no idea but I’ll always try post summat I fancy I just don’t ever go for short price coz can have a 10/11 winner then nothing for 4 days or a 20/1 winner and nothing for 4 days so I look at it that way plus not really a tip on a heavy fav when 20+ other sites tip it.
Wise man seabiscuit.
