It's been very rough recently and I can only apologise. Horses are getting backed in, it means nothing when they don't win, but yesterday's horses were both backed into odds-on from 7/4 and 9/4 and both won nicely.
Fakenham 2:10 – Dream Jet 7/2 (1pt, Bet365)
This doesn't look like a strong race, so top-weight Dream Jet gets my vote as I don't think the weight will be an issue.
There are two chase debutantes in this race, but they don't exactly scream out to be well handicapped and they have to prove that they jump a fence. Go Fox is the one to beat based on his recent second, but he is vulnerable to an improver and bottom weight Elpologreg has hardly pulled up any trees from any of his runs to date, with him being battered on his first three chase starts.
Dream Jet was a winner over hurdles off a mark of 104, which is 6lbs higher than today's chase mark, so he evidently can win off his handicap mark. His runs over fences (two runs) hasn't been special, but he's shown glimpses of promise and given that he likes to run from the front and the fact that he faded on his two starts over fences over 2m 4f and 2m 5f, this drop in trip will be a big positive for him. The type of track is also a benefit as it is a speedster track which will be right up his street, which is also backed up by his win at Stratford which is a similar tight track.
Cheekpieces go on and it's a very interesting jockey booking of Harry Cobden who is going for the jockey's title and is riding out of his skin. Brian Ellison has a good strike rate at this track, with it being a fair trek from his North Yorkshire base, as he operates at a 22% SR when sending his horses to the track, with three wins from 11 attempts from his chasers.
Fakenham 3:10 – Tupelo Mississippi 11/4 (1pt, PaddyPower)
For the second bet of the day I am sticking with the combination of Cobden and Ellison and going with Tupelo Mississippi.
The soft ground will not be a problem for the recent Kelso scorer, and it was only a matter of time before he was going to capitalise on a dropping handicap mark. He beat a horse who arrived in great form, with two wins from his two starts going into the race, and the 3rd has since hosed up at Sedgefield, so the form looks solid enough despite it being a Class 4 race in the North.
Today's race will be tougher of a higher handicap mark, but on past exploits, especially over hurdles he still has room to manoeuvre.
Tupelo Mississippi caught my eye as well I posted it on here last time it won might give it one more go then leave alone ?

The 2nd favourite leading by a plenty of lengths crumbled at the last leavings Secret Investor to stroll on by!
Other horse and jockey are okay so we can laugh and say our luck was in with no joy in others displeasure? ? ?

The greatest forecast I’ve ever nailed could be on again tonight with 2 old friends or foe’s.
Aquaduct Race 5…Maggie 9/4 **+
Combo forecast..Numbers 4- 5 -7 would be the numbers BUT add Maggie T for x12 bets and that’s NO:3 and adding it makes x12 bets .
Maggie was an Ew tip from me at 16/1 (or close) and went off 7/2 favourite over a un year ago and WON nicely with Maggie T at 25/1 second – it was backed into 14/1 itself, or thereabouts and forecast was around 290/1 if I mind right…or thereabouts.
It’s Just a token combo forecast and very small tricast but and see if lighting can strike twice in a wide open race although I doubt it but of course I doubted it the last time!
GL all and well done winners today it’s somehow been a profitable day in UK ??
happy Henry 6.00 ew well done all winners today
