The two main spring racing festivals may be over, but there are still plenty of competitive jumps racing ahead, which will ultimately decide a lot from now until the end of the season.
We still have a race for the trainers’ championship, which looks like a three-way battle between Dan Skelton, Willie Mullins, and Paul Nicholls. All three have strong chances this weekend to push for the title, and it'll be interesting to see how each of their runners gets on.
I've gone ahead and created a step-by-step guide to the Scottish Grand National, similar to that of the English Grand National article I did, which saw us land the winner and runner-up, which was a great result.
When is the Scottish Grand National?
The Scottish Grand National will commence at Ayr on 2o April at 15:35.
Where can I watch the Scottish Grand National?
The Scottish Grand National will be shown LIVE on STV in Scotland and ITV1 in England and Wales.
Coverage for the meeting at Ayr will begin at 13:00 with the Scottish Grand National itself starting at 15:35 local time.

Which horse is the favourite for the Scottish Grand National?
At the time of writing, the current favourite in the market to win the Scottish Grand National is Git Maker, who heads the market at 7/1. The current market leader has a decent strike rate under rules and has won 6 of his 11 last starts.
He brings in one of the strongest pieces of form with his eight lengths second to inothewayurthinkin in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham. The pair also broke 18 lengths on the day of the eventual third-placed Whacker Clan. His form was recently boosted last week when inothewayurthinkin went on to land a Grade 1 novice at Aintree.
