Ashariba rewarded us with another winner on Tuesday and maintained the good form of the David Menuisier yard.

It wasn't all clear sailing for Ashariba as Tipsy Tiger pulled up alongside her in the final couple of furlongs. At one point I thought Hollie Doyle was going to go on past but Ashariba responded well under the Oisin Murphy drive to get up towards the line.

My other selection Mach Ten was weak in the market having drifted from 7/2 out to 8/1 before the off. He ran well in defeat to finish second on testing ground conditions and simply bumped into an improving sort from the David O'Meara yard. Mach Ten will win races sooner rather than later and he's maybe worth another look next time out. The Haggas runner was yet again disappointing and I've no idea why it went off as short a price as it did having shown very little in her previous outings.

There is plenty of racing on offer on Wednesday however it's all pretty poor stuff. I've gone to the meeting at Beverley for my sole selection of the day.

Jamih 4/1 – 4:40 Beverley

Good ole class 6 contests at Beverley, my favourite!

All joking aside, I'd normally advise to avoid races of this nature but Jamih caught my eye in this contest and I've opted to throw my head on the line and put him up as my sole selection of the day.

Jamih is now 7 lb lower than than his last winning mark, which is to be expected given he hasn't won for nearly two years. He hinted at a return to form at Catterick 16 days ago. He went down by a neck on that occasion to Micky Hammonds Stellarmasterpiece. After watching a replay of the Catterick run, I thought Jamih was very unlucky not to win. Joanna Mason had to weave around traffic to get a clear run but once in the clear, he stayed on well to only go down by a neck. If he shows up in a similar form he should be capable of going one better.

Can I just mention going forward, I will never advise people how to stake their cash when it comes to my selections. How you wish to place your money is completely up to you, whether it be singles, doubles, trebles or an accumulator

If I post 3 selections and e.g. two wins, I will give a price on what the double would have paid “IF” you took them two selections instead of the treble. Just wanted to clear that up!

    Cairnzy.

David menuisier intends to run his sunway in Sunday’s French derby.
Be his biggest winner if it prevails 🏇

      Seen that 10/1 at moment.

Turned over the last twice at odds on which is a bit concerning. Couldn’t comment on the form of the races as I don’t follow that end.

Can’t question the form of the yard though. Who you taking in the race?

Hi guys it was no mallace at all just seen when say 3 are put up and say 2 win it’s talked as like “that would have been a 45/1 double etc” and from what I can see only put up as singles . I’m no one to judge I do terrible and your a great tipster maybe I made a bad judgment if so I apologise. On 1st of June I’m just gonna do a 1 pound e/w everyday (so 60 for a month) see if I make money or lose lol but sorry if I got it wrong .

    @Seabiscuit

There’s no mallace taken mate, I understand where you are coming from and can see how it may look at first glance.

Just wanted to put across that I never advise people what to stake or what way to back my selections if i put more than one or two up. There are people out there who advise people to stake more on certain selections ,I’m just not a fan of it personally.

Good to see a new face on the thread commenting as well.
