Friday’s football tips: Burnley decent value to hit the Championship summit

Few teams are in better form than Burnley and Scott Parker's side will be looking to take another big step towards promotion when they host Sunderland tonight. 

Saturday's 3-1 FA Cup success at Reading made it 14 games without defeat for the Clarets and a win tonight would send them to the Championship summit.

Promotion specialist Parker has Burnley purring again but Sunderland will present a stiff test of their title credentials, with the Black Cats just two points behind them in the table.

Regis Le Bris' men have lost just one of their last eight league games so it promises to be a close encounter at the top of the table.

With Burnley in such tremendous form it's no surprise to see them as BoyleSports' favourites for this one but the price of 11/10 still looks good value.

The Scottish Cup third round gets underway tonight and Brechin City will be looking to pull off a shock when they host Hearts at Glebe Park.

The Jambos have previous for losing to Highland League opposition, having crashed out to Brora Rangers just four years ago.

But Hearts were in the second tier at the time and it's hard to see a repeat tonight, with BoyleSports pricing Brechin at 18/1.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Borussia Dortmund top betting tips

There's a cracker in the Bundesliga tonight as struggling Borussia Dortmund look to spark back into life when they visit high-flying Eintracht Frankfurt.

Dortmund's form since returning from the winter break has been terrible, with a 3-2 home loss to Bayer Leverkusen followed by a 4-2 defeat on the road against minnows Holstein Kiel.

But Frankfurt have flown out the traps after their festive holiday, beating St Pauli and Freiburg to move up to third in the table. That's why they're BoyleSports' evens favourites tonight, with last year's Champions League runners-up the 9/5 outsiders.
