Ipswich Town and Sheffield United are both still seeking their first Championship win of the season so the stakes are high when they collide at Portman Road tonight.

The bookies had the Tractor Boys as one of the favourites to go up after dropping down from the Premier League but they've made an uninspiring start, with three draws and a defeat from their four games.

Sheffield United reached the play-off final last term but they look in terrible shape under new boss Ruben Seles and have yet to pick up a single point.

Ipswich Town vs Sheffield United top betting tips

Scoring has been a big problem for both sides, with Ipswich averaging just a goal a game so far in the Championship and the Blades netting only once.

With both teams low on confidence that could make it a tight and tense game tonight, with under 2.5 goals paying 5/6 at BoyleSports.

Ipswich have been draw specialists so far and there could be some value in backing another stalemate at 5/2. The half-time draw is safer and that pays 23/20 at BoyleSports.

None of Ipswich's league games have hit double figures for corners yet so under 10 flag kicks looks decent at 11/10 with Bet365.

Partick Thistle vs Airdrieonians

Partick Thistle have made a strong start to the season and can move level with SPFL Championship leaders St Johnstone if they win at home to Airdrieonians tonight.

The Jags were spanked 5-1 by Saints on day one in Perth but have responded superbly, with a draw and three wins in their next four games.

They now host an Airdrie side who sit second bottom of the table and have just changed their manager, with Danny Lennon taking over from Rhys McCabe.

Lennon's debut in the dugout was a 1-0 loss at Arbroath so it's no surprise to see the Diamonds as 15/4 outsiders.

Partick are just 4/7 but you can boost their price to 20/21 by adding on over 1.5 goals, which looks good value.

Jags winger Logan Chalmers has been scoring for fun this season, with six in nine games, so he could also be worth a punt for a goal at 13/8 with Bet365.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Eintracht Frankfurt

The big game in Europe tonight sees Bayer Leverkusen take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the first game since Erik ten Hag's shock sacking.

The former Manchester United boss lasted just three games and the axe came down after his side blew a 3-1 lead against 10-man Werder Bremen.

Former Denmark boss Kasper Hjulmand has taken over and has a tough first assignment as Frankfurt come calling.

Eintracht have started with three victories on the spin and won 3-1 last time out away to a Hoffenheim side who had just beaten Leverkusen. So they could be worth a punt at 15/8 against a team in such a state of upheaval.

All of Frankfurt's games so far have seen four goals or more while we've seen at least three in each Leverkusen match. So over 3.5 strikes could be worth a punt at 6/5 with BoyleSports while over 1.5 first-half goals pays 23/20.
