Friday’s football tips: Another narrow win appeals for mean machine Burnley at 11/10

Burnley's incredible unbeaten run in the Championship has fired them to the brink of automatic promotion and they have a chance to go top tonight when they host Norwich.

Scott Parker's side haven't tasted defeat in the league since early November but the job still isn't done with Leeds and Sheffield United pushing them all the way.

A midweek draw at Derby saw the Clarets surrender top spot to Leeds on goal difference while the Blades are lurking just two points behind with just five games to go.

It promises to be a tight and tense run-in so Burnley can ill afford any more dropped points tonight against the Canaries.

Burnley vs Norwich City top betting tips

Norwich sit nine points off the play-off pace so they need to go all out for a win tonight but BoyleSports don't fancy their chances as they make the Canaries 5/1 outsiders.

Burnley are 8/15 hot favourites but combining a Clarets win with under 3.5 goals pays a decent 11/10 in a bet builder.

Both these teams drew 0-0 in midweek and I'd be surprised if we saw a lot of goals, given Parker's side have conceded just 12 times in 41 league games.

We saw 11 corners when these sides faced off earlier in the season but none of Norwich's last four outings has hit double figures for corners. That tally has gone past 10 in just one of Burnley's last five as well so I fancy under 9.5 corners tonight at 10/11 with BoyleSports.

Ayr United vs Falkirk top betting tips

Falkirk have one foot in the SPFL Premiership as they sit eight points clear in the Championship title race with just four games to go.

Tonight's trip to Ayr is the toughest game of their run-in, with Scott Brown's side sitting 11 points behind them in third.

The Honest Men have seen their title push crumble during a run that has seen them win just once in five games.

Three of those games have been defeats so Falkirk look good at 10/11 with BoyleSports and adding on over 1.5 goals boosts the odds to 7/5.

Bairns winger Calvin Miller has netted three times in his last four games to take his tally for the season into double figures. He's 7/2 at SkyBet for another strike tonight and that looks a bit overpriced on current form.

Valencia vs Sevilla top betting tips

Carlos Corberan has done an incredible job since taking the reins at Valencia and his side can move further clear of the La Liga drop zone with a win over Sevilla tonight.

Only Barcelona and the two Madrid giants have beaten Los Che since the former West Brom boss took charge back in January with the fallen giants stuck in a relegation battle.

Valencia are unbeaten in their last five and a shock 2-1 win at the Bernabeu last weekend has fired them up 14th, six points clear of the drop zone.

There's still work to do and tonight they face a Sevilla side who sit just two points above them in the table after losing their last three games.

Those defeats all came against opponents in the top six but in-form Valencia still look good value to inflict another defeat at 6/5 with BoyleSports.

This should be a close game though and the half-time draw appeals at 10/11 while backing most goals to come in the second half is a bit better at 21/10.
