Sunday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the South Korean second tier, and I’ve highlighted one team in particular that appeals to me for goals.
⚽️ Cheonan City vs Jeonnam Dragons
🇰🇷 K League 2
⏰ Sunday 11 August, 11:00
Second-placed Jeonnam Dragons will look to move within one point of leaders Anyang on Sunday morning as they travel to the Cheonan Stadium to take on 10th-placed Cheonan City in a fixture that I’m keen to back the free-scoring visitors to score at least twice.
Jeonnam Dragons head into this clash having lost just one of their last 14 K League 2 contests (W9-D4-L1), as they twice came from behind to draw 2-2 at home to fourth-placed Seoul E-Land last time out.
After winning just one of their opening four road trips of the season, The Dragons have won each of their next six, and will be confident of securing another victory on their travels against a Cheonan City that struggles at home.
Kim Tae-wan’s hosts boast the third-best away record in the division – picking up 22 points from a possible 36 (W6-D4-L2) – but have been terrible at home, collecting just three points from their 11 home matches, with all three of those points coming against the only three sides below them in the K League 2 table.
Bet of the Day
Lee Jang-Kwan’s visitors are the second-highest scorers in the Korean second tier, slamming in 42 goals across their opening 23 matches, with 22 (52%) of them coming on their travels.
JDFC have made the net bulge in each of their previous 22 K League 2 contests – striking on multiple occasions in 11 of their last 14, including in each of their previous seven on the road – and I’m backing them to bag another double against a Cheonan City defence that has registered a solitary clean sheet at home this season, shipping multiple goals in 7/11 (64%) of them.
- Jeonnam Dragons to Score Over 1.5 Goals
- Pays 1/1 (Betway)

Good old Greg 🙂
Swings and roundabouts that’s why I’m done with it, unfortunately its what happens on the day and prices set accordingly so can be awful ie 1/3 for over 2.5 goals etc,can easily go under 2.5 so why bother unless you have a magic ball lol, betting only fun when winning, even when betting what you can afford to lose surely there are better things to do with it,I treated myself to a pair of Lacoste trainers today, had a quick look at a bet and guess what it lost so I’m glad I’ve got something to show for it👍
Unlucky Greg, you’ve shown before you can go on a great run – look forward to your next tip mate :)
Yep but unfortunately in life majority of people only remember the losers and not the winners, think 10 on the trot which is some going but normally evens it self out,I remember one bloke who did his totals etc, overall it worked out he profited about £8 a month which is profit after all but said for all the stress of it all he just quit, said it just wasn’t worth it
