Sunday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me stay in the MLS, and I’ve highlighted another fixture that appeals to me for goals.

Two clubs at opposite ends of their respective Conferences meet at Toyota Stadium in the early hours of Sunday morning as 2nd in the Eastern, Cincinnati, travel to 11th in the Western, Dallas, in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Peter Luccin’s hosts have scored 27 goals across their opening 19 matches in MLS this term, with 18 (67%) of them coming on home soil.
The Toros have found the back of the net in 8/9 (89%) of their MLS contests in front of their supporters – notching on multiple occasions in each of their previous five – and will look to get on the scoresheet once again against a Cincinnati backline that has registered just two clean sheets across their last 14 MLS encounters and just one across their opening nine road trips.
Pat Noonan’s visitors have scored 32 goals across their opening 19 fixtures in MLS this campaign, with 19 (59%) of them coming on their travels.
The Orange and Blue have made the net bulge in each of their opening nine encounters on their travels – scoring two or more in six (67%) of them, including in four of their last five – and will be confident of getting on the scoresheet once again on the road against a Dallas defence that has recorded just four shutouts this season.

Cincinnati’s opening nine MLS fixtures in their travels this season are averaging 3.44 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals banking in seven (78%) of them – and given the same has landed in 6/9 (67%) of Dallas’ MLS matches at their Texas base – I’m happy to have a punt on there being a minimum of three strikes, with both of these sides finding the target in Texas in the early hours of Sunday morning.
