Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Norwegian second tier, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Two clubs in contrasting form in the Norwegian OBOS-ligaen meet at the Nadderud Stadion on Saturday afternoon, as struggling Stabaek hosts in-form Start in a fixture that I’m keen to back the visitors to strike twice.
Start bounced back from their 3-0 defeat away at champions-elect Lillestrom as they won 3-1 at home to fifth-placed Aalesund, cementing their place in second place.
Azar Karadas’s visitors have now won five of their previous six league outings, with their only two losses in their last 15 matches coming against leaders Lillestrom.
Start have been good on their travels, picking up 21 points from a possible 30 (W6-D3-L1), with that record changing to W4-D2-L0 against teams positioned in 10th and below, scoring on multiple occasions in five (83%) of those matches (1-3, 2-3, 0-0, 0-3, 2-2 & 0-2).
Stabaek, on the other hand, are in the midst of a 13-game winless run, losing seven of their previous 10, leaving them occupying the relegation playoff position, only one point outside of the relegation zone.
Mikael Stahre’s hosts have struggled at home all season, with their only two wins coming against the two teams below them in the table, back in May, with De Blaa shipping multiple goals in all six of their meetings with the current top eight, losing five of them (W0-D1-L5).

Azar Karadas’s visitors are the third-highest scorers in the Norwegian second tier, firing in 40 goals across their opening 20 matches.
The Kristiansund-based club have struck on multiple occasions in 13 (65%) of their league outings this season – including in 9/11 (82%) against bottom-half opposition – and I’m backing them to bag another double against a leaky Stabaek defence that has shipped multiple goals in all six of their home matches with the current top eight.
