Euro 2024 Bet of the day

Looking to return to winning ways after  three very frustrating nights, Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Bundesliga, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for both goals and cards.

⚽️ TSG Hoffenheim vs Borussia Mönchengladbach

🇩🇪 Bundesliga

⏰ Saturday 20th April, 14:30

Two clubs separated by two places in the Bundesliga table meet at the PreZero-Arena tomorrow afternoon as European-hopefuls Hoffenheim play host to relegation-threatened Gladbach in a fixture that appeals to me for both goals and cards.

Pellegrino Matarazzo’s hosts have scored 49 goals across their opening 29 Bundesliga matches this term, with 22 (45%) of them coming on home soil. The Sinsheim-based club have found the back of the net in all bar three of their Bundesliga fixtures this season – scoring two or more in 14 (48%) of them – and will look to find the target once again against a Foals defence that has registered a solitary clean sheet on their travels this season, shipping a staggering 31 goals.

Gerardo Seoane’s visitors have scored 50 goals across their opening 29 Bundesliga matches this term, with 24 (48%) of them coming on their travels. The Foals have found the back of the net in 12/14 (86%) of their road trips this campaign – only failing to score at Bayer Leverkusen (1st) and RB Leipzig (4th) – and will look to get on the scoresheet once again away from home against a Hoffenheim defence that has registered a solitary clean sheet in the Bundesliga this season.

Bet of the Day

Hoffenheim are the Both Teams to Score kings in the Bundesliga this season, with 25/29 (86%) of their fixtures producing goals at both ends – and given the same has landed in 22/29 (76%) of Gladbach’s contests in the Bundesliga this term, including in 12/14 (86%) of them on their travels – I’m happy to have a punt on both of these sides finding the target in Sinsheim tomorrow afternoon.

To nudge the price up, I’m happy to throw in three or more cards in the match, with both sides collecting one. Hoffenheim have been carded in each of their previous 28 Bundesliga contests, earning two or more in 25 (89%) of them, whilst The Foals have been carded in all 14 (100%) of their away matches this term, earning multiple cards in 10 (71%) of them.

  • Both Teams to Score, Both Teams Over 0.5 Cards & Over 2.5 Cards
  • Pays 20/21 (BetVictor Bet Builder)
