Following Sunday’s push in Portland, Monday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Norwegian second tier, and I’ve highlighted one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals.

Two clubs separated only by two points in the OBOS-ligaen table meet at the Nadderud Stadion tomorrow evening as 8th-placed Stabæk play host to 4th-placed Egersunds in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Stabæk, who are managed by Ex-Swansea and USA head coach Bob Bradley, have scored 17 goals across their opening eight league outings, with eight (47%) of them coming across their three home fixtures.
The Blues have failed to score in just one of their league contests – notching on multiple occasions in five of their last six – and will be confident of adding to their goal-tally against an Egersunds defence that is still without a clean sheet in the league this season, conceding 16 goals.
Kjell André Thu’s visitors are the leading scorers in the Norwegian second tier, slamming in 21 goals across their opening eight matches, with 15 (71%) of them coming on their travels.
The Tigers have found the back of the net in each of their opening eight (100%) league outings – scoring on multiple occasions in seven (88%) of them – and will look to continue their sensational form in front of goal against a Stabæk defence that has kept just two clean sheets in the league this season, shipping multiple goals in four of their last five.

Egersunds’ opening eight matches since promotion to the Norwegian second tier are averaging a league-high 4.63 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals banking in seven (88%) of them and Over 3.5 Goals in six (75%) of them.
Stabæk’s opening eight OBOS-Ligaen fixtures have also been full of goals this term, averaging 3.63 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals paying out in each of their previous six, with five (83%) of those also producing four or more goals.
Therefore, I’m happy to back the Over 3.0 Asian goal. This would mean if there are exactly three goals scored, we will receive our stake back, whilst four or more strikes will reward a full payout.
