After making it an incredible 13 winners from the past 14 in Norway on Friday, Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me delve into the Korean second tier, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.
⚽️ Jeonnam Dragons vs Seoul E-Land
🇰🇷 K League 2
⏰ Saturday 7 June, 11:00
Two clubs separated only by one place and one point in the K League 2 table meet at the Dragon Dungeon tomorrow morning as third-placed Jeonnam Dragons entertain fourth-placed Seoul E-Land in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Lee Jang-Kwan’s hosts have fired in 22 goals across their opening 14 K League 2 fixtures this season, with nine (41%) of them coming across their three home matches.
The Dragons have failed to score in just two of their league outings this term, notching on multiple occasions in seven (50%) of them – including in 3/3 (100%) on home soil – and I’m backing them to get on the scoresheet against a Seoul E-Land that’s kept just two clean sheets and conceded 19 goals in the league this season, with both clean sheets coming against the bottom two.
Kim Do-kyun’s visitors have slammed in 24 goals across their opening 14 matches in the Korean second tier, with seven (29%) of them coming across their five away matches.
The Leopards have also failed to score in just two of their league clashes – striking 2+ goals in eight (57%) of them – and will look to trouble a Dragons defence that’s without a clean sheet in any of their last five matches, shipping multiple goals in three (60%) of them.
Bet of the Day
Seoul E-Land’s opening 14 encounters in the Korean second tier this campaign have averaged 3.07 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals banking in nine (64%) of them, including in seven of their last 10.
Jeonnam Dragons have played 11 of their 14 K League 2 fixtures on the road this season, with those matches averaging just 2.09 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals landing only in four (36%) of them.
However, the goals have flown in their three home contests, with those matches finishing 3-2, 4-1 and 2-1 – meaning four of their last five overall have seen Over 2.5 Goals land – and I’m hoping we see another high-scoring encounter at the Dragons Dungeon on Saturday morning.
