Roberto De Zerbi’s reign as Marseille manager began emphatically as his new side thrashed last season’s surprise package Brest 1-5 away from home.
OM could only muster a 2-2 draw at home to Reims in their next league outing but returned to winning ways last time out, as they comfortably dispatched Toulouse 1-3 on the road, meaning they have slammed in an impressive 10 goals across their opening three Ligue 1 outings.
Former Lens head coach Franck Haise made a losing start to his reign as Nice manager, as they conceded in stoppage-time to lose 2-1 away at newly-promoted Auxerre.
Since then, Les Aiglons picked up their first point of the campaign with a 1-1 draw at home to Toulouse before winning 1-4 away at another promoted side, Angers, despite playing the final 25 minutes with 10 men.

De Zerbi’s new side’s opening three matches in Ligue 1 have produced an eye-catching 14 goals (4.67 goals per game), with Over 3.5 Goals paying out in each of them, whilst Nice’s opening three contests in the French top flight this term have produced 10 strikes (3.33 goals per game), with Both Teams to Score landing in all three of them, whilst two (67%) of them have seen three or more goals.
